Our Best African Safari To Date
Tanzania between 31 Oct 2009 and 13 Nov 2009
From the initial enquiry to Claire, through to the very efficient transfers from airports to camps. It was very well organised. Thank you.
All 3 camps came up to our expectations because you had given us all the correct and relevant information.
The wildlife watching, which was principally our aim, was very very good in Selous. Obviously in Ruaha a lot of the large game had gone to find the earlier rain in the hills, but we saw so much more variety because of the rain.
So, a very big thank you to Expert Africa. We will hopefully be back for more safari experiences (when we have saved up again !!!)"

Lake Manze Adventure Camp
"Wonderful Safari at Lake Manze"

Impala Camp
"The Best Time Ever at Impala Camp"
The whole package was perfection. Our guide was second to none and went out of his way to let us experience so much diversity in that area.
The boat trip with Gerrard was excellent too. We were overwhelmed by the diversity of bird life in the Selous.
The highlight at Impala Camp was sitting eating breakfast in the bush and across the lake was a lioness chasing a zebra !!
What more can we say ?!"

Mdonya Old River Camp - Tanzania (Not currently featured by Expert Africa)
"The Rain at Mdonya"
Our guide and driver were excellent and we had very good days out with them. With very good lunches in the bush.
It was great to meet Sylvia because her passion for Tanzania was so evident and again we learnt a great deal about the wildlife and its environment. And because of the rain we so lots of "small game" that we had never seen before............ scorpions, insects, crickets, beetles, turtle, tortoise etc etc ............ brilliant !
The camp was very quiet when we were there, which led to a real bush experience.
We have to have two highlights here ! Which would have to be the first water in the river bed and not just one, but two lion kills !!"

Southern Sun Dar
Our original guide had to leave us on the last day, for a hospital appointment, and our replacement was unfortunately not of the same standard. We did discuss this with Richard, so he is aware of it.
The boat safari with Elton was extremely interesting and rewarding because he was so enthusiastic about the birds.
All the staff were friendly and very welcoming. With Richard being a wonderful host.
The game drives were very good, with so much to see and watch. The highlight being the Wild Dogs trotting up the track in front of our vehicle and the 6 pups having a "game" with a warthog !!"
