"Empakaai is an incredible crater - having the look of a perfectly formed bowl with 75% of the crater floor filled by a lake.
The hike down through the forest is really interesting with plenty of flora, fauna and wildlife to spot and discuss - and emerging through the trees onto the crater floor is an experience not to be forgotten.
It was brilliant to see the wildlife on the crater floor alongside the masai cattle herds being walked around the lake by the masai farmers.
The hike back up to the crater rim is harder work than the descent, but not too difficult if you take your time - pole pole!" Read more about this whole safari

"If possible, you should do that. It is a very quite and peaceful athmosphere inside the crater."
