"Twee Rivieren Rest Camp review"
With hindsight, we would probably have stayed just 1 night in Twee Rivieren, but two nights in KTC.
The newer "camp" on the Botswana side looked more modern and promising.. :-)" See all these reviews: 14n in South Africa; 4n in Namibia

Toaster only worked if held the button down.
Another good meal.
Tyre pump hard work to reinflate tyres. Double press and it may work eventually.
At check out unable to have pass stamped as mine had been given to a South African with the same surname!" See all these reviews: 8n in South Africa

Toaster fully operational in unit 19. Enjoyed meal in the restaurant. Refueling easy and card machine was working by 9:30 after a time out earlier on I was told. Shop well stocked, bought some chicken kebabs to try.
Long queue to get your pass and enter into the park." See all these reviews: 8n in South Africa

There was a notice but given our haste to check in and get out for our final drive I did not spot it and the receptionist did not mention it.
We should have been told when we checked in the week before. I have raised this with the manager Frans which I copied Tracy into." See all these reviews: 9n in South Africa

Used the shop for pork chops (only R50). Also made use of the restaurant still very reasonable price.
Fuel is marginally more expensive than outside the park, but at only ÂŁ1 a litre, a whopping discount to the UK.
We did 1519 miles and used 39.5 gallons, so just as well." See all these reviews: 9n in South Africa
"Twee Rivieren Rest Camp review"
We thought camp area is nice and quiet even though it's the largest camp in the park. We were happy that we can eat in their restaurant after arriving quite late in the afternoon. Food is ok.
The shop has more items than we initially thought." See all these reviews: 17n in South Africa

"Twee Rivieren Rest Camp review"
As I was on my own I could sleep in the room with the air conditioning rather than the kitchen. I had one dinner in the restaurant, which was inexpensive, and gave a break before I started self catering.
While I was there fuel was readily available." See all these reviews: 12n in South Africa
"Good time at Twee Rivieren"
One small issue was that one of the bedrooms had a resident bat.
The kids found it mighty interesting that the bat would poop on their beds, but didn't want to share the room with it.
Otherwise, the chalet was fine." See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia; 4n in South Africa
