It was extremely busy at meal times outside with lots of business meetings which made it feel quite chaotic, but the staff did well to stay on top of orders etc
The pool was very cold so the kids didn’t swim in it really. Lovely for adults though.
Dinner menu - would like more choice - e.g some sushi or less heavy options.
Overall a wonderful hotel though and we would return" See all these reviews: 8n in South Africa

We enjoyed our 3 day stay very much and had a lovely room with a great view of the mountain.
The staff were friendly and professional.
Not too far from Kirshtenbosch botanical gardens, which is stunning.
Highly recommend." See all these reviews: 10n in South Africa

Excellent food.
Lovely swimming pool and gardens and gym.
Quite busy with majority of guests seeming to be business customers / using the conference centre.
(We didn't find this to be a problem).
Staff very helpful." See all these reviews: 12n in South Africa

Rooms were a bit corporate-like but bathrooms seemed fairly new and good quality. Our bathroom wasn't 100% clean though and there was a dirty wipe left in the corner! However beds were very comfortable and the breakfasts very nice.
Our only complaint was that it's a much larger hotel than we expected with probably over 400 guests and they were fully booked when we were there, which made the staff a bit stressed and getting a table for breakfast a bit of a scramble!
Being in Cape Town on 1st Jan should be avoided if possible....there were huge traffic jams everywhere and we had to give up on our planned trip to Table Mountain and nearly didn't make our dinner reservation in Clifton! After that though we were able to navigate around just fine and did most of what we had planned." See all these reviews: 8n in South Africa

The hotel grounds are large, with beautiful landscaping and a river flowing east from Table Mountain. There are lots of walkways to explore and large tortoises roaming around!
Staff and concierge were very helpful during our stay." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 5n in South Africa

The food is superb. In particular, I'll comment on the huge choice at breakfast: the eggs benedict were amazing. Evening meals great too; the tomato risotto had my vote for best meal of the holiday. I like the fact that this is obviously a place where well-heeled Cape Town residents gather to eat, so that is a sign that it's the best.
The rooms are large and very comfortable. Ours had a small balcony that overlooked the beautiful courtyard garden, full of trees and flowers. The gardens outside are very well-maintained and the large tortoises are a big attraction.
We couldn’t ever stay anywhere else in Cape Town." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 7n in South Africa

Requires car/taxi to get to anywhere central as it is located in an upmarket suburb behind Table Mountain....however very near the cricket ground!" See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia; 6n in South Africa
