"This trip lived up to all our expectations"

I visited Botswana and 2 other countries between 29 Aug 2013 and 8 Sep 2013
"This was a marvellous trip, partly because we visited some amazing places which showed completely different aspects of Africa but partly because of the effort put into planning the holiday by Megan at Expert Africa. She was endlessly patient and wanted to get the trip absolutely right for us whilst staying within our budget. We were happy to take Megan's suggestions which proved to be absolutely spot on for us.

Many thanks for helping us to have such a great introduction to Africa. We will be back!

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Perhaps you could explain the varied nature of some of the transfers more clearly. We were surprised by the number of different drivers we had going from Livingstone to Muchenje and the transfer to the small boat across the Zambesi seemed somewhat precarious, (and hilarious!) but having said that it did all work! It was not quite what we expected but certainly gave us a feeling of adventure and Africa from the start!

I think that the organisation is to be congratulated on such an efficient and personal service. Many thanks" Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 4 on a Botswana safari

"My Aug 2013 trip"

I visited Tanzania and 1 other country between 28 Aug 2013 and 10 Sep 2013
"You did an excellent job with our itinerary except as explained earlier we felt the two camps were too close in proximity to each other.

Overall, we have already recommended you to several people and believe one couple from Northern Ireland will contact your company about a trip to Tanzania and we suggested "little Oliver" and "Sayari". They said they had used your company in the past and would look you up immediately on their return to Belfast. You have our address for our commission." "My 2013 trip- as wonderful as the previous 5"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 25 Jul 2013 and 10 Aug 2013
"Where do I start? As usual Botswana was amazing. The scenery, the wildlife, the excellent Wilderness Safaris camps all as good as ever.

As usual Expert Africa ensured that everything ran like clockwork. All just as we have come to expect on our repeated visits to this area.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

I cannot think of any way it could be improved.

Expert Africa staff could not be more responsive, helpful and generally good to deal with." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 11 on a Botswana safari

"My Jun 2013 trip"

I visited Zambia and 2 other countries between 22 Jun 2013 and 12 Jul 2013
"I felt very satisfied with the overall trip. I had an adventure and saw a lot of animals. My only comments is this was a very physical trip. Anyone going needs to be in good health with no physical problems. The weather at night and early in the morning can be very cold so coat, hat and gloves are a must. The camps are tents so there is no heating at night and can be cold, along with open screens the air can blow through. Africa is famous for their beautiful sunsets of red an orange skies, that's from all the dust in the air. So one needs to be aware there is a lot of dirt and dust in the air. Anyone suffering for respiratory problems or asthma might have a real problem. Also camps like Kaingo run on burning wood which is another respiratory problem.

I will always remember my trip to Africa, the kind people, the abundance of animals, and the striking evening sunsets. Thank you for the adventure.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

My only suggestions is to make clients aware of the physical demands and aware of cold and dust problems. For most healthy people this would not be a problem, but anyone with a respiratory condition this might not be the right trip for them." Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 15 on a Zambia safari

"My Mar 2013 trip"

I visited South Africa between 28 Mar 2013 and 11 Apr 2013
"We had a brilliant time - none of us wanted to come home!

It was really easy to travel around, all the hotels were good or brilliant and easy to find and we managed to do everything but Table Mountain (long queue on Easter Monday that the children couldn't have handled).

We found everyone we met really helpful and friendly and can't wait to go back. 12 out of 10 for a holiday (and we have had some pretty great ones in the past).

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

No - its all be great. Thanks for all your help!" Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 13 on a South Africa trip

"Real Africa!"

I visited Botswana and 2 other countries between 28 Mar 2013 and 16 Apr 2013
"Outstanding in all respects. We have been to most of the world and certainly rank this trip among our favorites.

The assistance and guidance we received from Saskia Adye was fantastic, accurate and honest!

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
If I were to go on safari and was assigned to a vehicle with nine people crowded together, not even mentioning the roads - I would end my trip then and there! This did not happen to us and usually it was either my wife and self on one other couple with two couples only once for a short period. Obviously, I prefer the two bench vehicles with a top (although I fully realize this is not always possible for a number of reasons. We are 77 and in good shape, I seriously doubt if anyone our age or approaching our age not in a reasonalbly good physical and mental condition would enjoy the trip we took. However, there are certainly many alternatives for any situation whereby almost anyone could be accomodated as long as they realize it is not a trip to New York City." "SA 2013"

I visited South Africa between 6 Feb 2013 and 27 Feb 2013
"Re car hire with Budget; they no longer require copy passport or drivers licence. In addition the CT office is not familiar with the form at at the back of your handbook to be signed by them on the return of the car. I think it is essential and they need to be encouraged to get used to this practise.

"My Dec 2012 trip"

I visited South Africa between 29 Dec 2012 and 12 Jan 2013
"We had a brilliant trip - we and Allan and Ruth, all thought that it was our best trip to S. Africa ever so Megan our thanks for absolutely everything and your unfailing patience in getting us organised. It gives us so much confidence and increases our enjoyment 100% to know that everything goes according to plan e.g. transfers are waiting for us, as arranged, and are professional, helpful and friendly.

Reg wants to make Rorke's Drift and the Great Migration his next trip !" Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 2 on a South Africa trip
