"An idyllic place to stay in Uppington"

1 night Arrived 28 Oct 2015
"Uppington is not the most charismatic place to stay.

However Le Must River Residence was excellent with fantastic rooms and a lovely garden to sit out in over looking the Orange river. Breakfast was also very good and freshly prepared." See all these reviews: 10n in South Africa

"Excellent"

1 night Arrived 21 Aug 2015
"Le Must River Residence is well positioned on the banks of the Orange River - it is very pretty. Room was perfect, staff were very helpful and friendly. A delightful place.

Upington can look a little daunting when trying to find a restaurant for your evening meal, but O'Hagan's is recommended" See all these reviews: 13n in South Africa

"Le Must River Residence review"

1 night Arrived 17 Jan 2015
"We had two one-night stays at Le Must. Both rooms were comfortable, one was reasonably sized and the other was spacious. In the former room (but not the latter) there was no door between the bedroom and the en-suite facilities which seemed a pity and rather perverse, especially as there was a framed doorway that should have been able to have a door. If we understood correctly from one of the staff, a number of the rooms have the same feature.

The garden is very attractive and a good place to relax after a long drive.

For those who want a breakfast without a cooked meal, the choice was very basic although more or less adequate. Fruit salad and coffee ran out quickly. The few staff were busy preparing cooked meals and had to be hijacked to get replacements.

We met the manageress on the afternoon of our second visit. She was very welcoming and was also helpful in contacting Budget to ensure that we could be given a lift back to town after returning our hire vehicle." See all these reviews: 7n in South Africa

"Le Must River Residence review"

1 night Arrived 29 Aug 2014
"Having arrived late due to a delay at O Tambo we were welcomed with a delicious hot meal of a boerwors casserole with rice. Saved us searching for a restaurant at a late hour.

Comfortable large first floor room with a spacious bathroom. High ceilings would help keep the room cool in Summer and heating was available and would have been welcome if it had been cooler. Le Must is set in a sun tropical garden offering shade which must surely be needed during the summer. Altogether a delightful spot next to the range River. I'd certainly go again given the opportunity." See all these reviews: 13n in South Africa
