Okonjima Plains Camp: video gallery

Okonjima Plains Camp: picture gallery

Okonjima Plains Camp is located in large private nature reserve, which...
...was once a cattle farm and references to its history are dotted around.
The central gathering point is the enormous main area called 'The Barn'.
This is where you'll find the large dining area...
…where tasty afternoon treats are served...
......and several sitting areas spread out with impressive views of the plains.
Wood burners help take the chill out of the winter evenings...
...and you can also sit by the fire outside for a drink before dinner.
Close to the dining area you will find an outdoor barbecue and pizza ovens.
There is also a small swimming pool....
…with shady areas to rest out of the sun.
The rooms have expansive views and are well spaced for privacy.
Inside they are spacious and tastefully decorated with African artwork.
Large windows let in plenty of light and provide superb views of the outdoors...
…or sit on your own private verandah to admire the views.
Each bathroom has twin hand basins, a mirrors and...
... a walk in shower and toilet.
Each room also has tea and coffee facilities...
...and a safe and plenty of space for your belongings.
The main attractions at Okonjima are the exciting guided drives...
...were guides use radio collars to track...
...cheetah...
…and if you're lucky wild dog.
There is also plenty of general game around and...
...even the chance to see some of the more elusive occupants of the reserve.
