"A great place to finish off the holiday"
Our chalet/tent was large and well equipped and the restaurant was good. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the swimming pool was very welcome after our drive.
We opted for the sundowner climb (not too steep or strenuous) and watched the baboons on an adjacent hilltop and a spectacular sunset before a good dinner.
We did not have any more time to explore the local walking trails as we had to leave after one night at Erongo to return to Windhoek." See all these reviews: 17n in Namibia

Access will require 4x4 vehicles but for those with 2WD cars there is parking 800 metres from the camp and guests will be collected and transported to the camp by staff in 4x4 vehicles. There is quite a lot of walking and steps to the guest's rooms and the dining area so guests with poor mobility might struggle but the struggle will be worthwhile as this is a beautiful and well run camp with exceptionally good food.
A walk up the adjacent koppie is worth the effort and you will be rewarded with magnificent views while enjoying your chosen sundowner watching as the sun sets over the distant mountains. It is also a chance to meet and chat with the other guests but this walk is not suitable for those with poor mobility.
If you are returning to Windhoek on leaving the camp the road is very good and is tarred all the way apart from the initial 12 kms or so from the camp. We left early the next morning so did not partake in any game drives." See all these reviews: 9n in Namibia
"Erongo Wilderness Lodge review"
Although no big game the variety and number of birds (trees full of brightly coloured lovebirds), brightly coloured lizards and hyrax were wonderful.
We had heavy rain which spoiled the experience a little as we couldn't do the sundowner walk/dinner outside/campfire, but would go back to experience this wonderful lodge again." See all these reviews: 8n in Namibia

"Lovely place"
Very comfortable and atmospheric camp in rocky mountain terrain. We came here to do some walking and we were not disappointed. We self guided for one walk and took a guided early morning walk which was very good. We also took an evening drive ( the only activity to pay for ), going to a cave with prehistoric engravings, and ending up with a welcome sundowner.
Good food, guides and staff." See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia

"Spectacular situation"
The food and the staff were very good.
We set out on what we thought would be a gentle walk with Englebrecht and ended up on the top of a mountain, challenging but with a great sense of achievement.
Plenty of bird species, but apart from hyrax and lizards, few animals." See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia
