"It was a fantastic trip and I really enjoyed it.

The parks and lodges are beautiful with excellent and full activities and great guides and overall fairly quiet. People were all really friendly too. My focus for this trip was birdwatching and photography and overall I saw 266 species of birds as well as lots of mammals including hippos and elephants as well as two lion sightings of a mother and three cubs and a cheetah sighting.

The evening drives were also great including my first porcupine sighting, a civet cat as well as nightjars, a bat hawk and couple of owls. I'm very glad I included Zomba Mountain too as this provided greater diversity of a different environment in Malawi and more diverse species of birds which can't be seen in the large parks.

It was a wonderful trip!

Overall the trip was great and Maruska was really helpful in arranging everything. Her speed of response/feedback was great and detailed which is one of the reasons I ended up going on this trip as it 'got ahead of other options'.

"This was our first time using an agent as we typically like arranging our trips ourselves but we couldn't have managed without the Expert Africa team on this occasion.

We had a wonderful time in Zambia and Malawi and the whole trip fitted together seamlessly.

"Wonderful experience, the standard of these lodges never ceases to impress us, we had excellent wildlife viewing, and were so grateful to all concerned for their help and understanding in regard to our age and my wife walking problems due to a recent road accident.

Nothing was too much trouble resulting in an extremly enjoyable and memorable holiday.

"This was our fifth trip with EA and we started to plan our sixth one immediately. That probably says a lot.

Though this is not a budget company, in our experience there is no such thing as a cheap Africa trip. At least not if you expect tailor made quality, which is exactly what EA delivers.

Very well informed and in possession of local knowledge and experience. Communication is quick and honest. Unexpected situations are dealt with professionaly.

This makes for a complete package when you're looking for a quality trip to Southern Africa.

"This was one of our best ever holidays and we are so glad we were persuaded to go, having waited 2 deferred years and still had a few doubts about covid. In the event, everything was completely back to normal and we had a fantastic time.

The itinerary Claire put together could not be faulted, combining South Luangwa (which we previously visited in 2013) with Malawi, a new country for us. All the transfers between lodges worked like clockwork, and we would particularly single out Sidney for praise, who was our driver/guide in Malawi, and gave us lots of useful information about life in Malawi as we drove through villages and he also took us on a hike on the Zomba plateau).
