"Remote and unique location."

3 nights Arrived 4 Aug 2007
"Not the easiest place to get to. A mix up over the pick-up proved problematic. It would perhaps be better if the entrance was signposted, and some method of contact available in emergency. [ perhaps at the village?]

I would put a note of caution to travelling novices, had we not been to Africa before this could have turned into a very difficult day.

Having said that, the journey is well worth it. The location is unique, the activities varied. Although the lodge is primarily geared towards fishing, the birdwatching is very good, while night boat trips were interesting.

The atmospehere was very friendly and relaxed with good food." See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia; 3n in Botswana
