"A fabulous experience"

We have learned so much about a part of the world unknown to us prior to this trip and it has certainly had an impact on the perspective that we now take about certain issues. We met some wonderful people, both inhabitants of the countries and fellow travellers, and the animals and birds that we encountered were magnificent.
It was humbling and impressive and I wish that everyone could be lucky enough to have such a fantastic opportunity.

At the point of booking there were times when Tracy was clearly very busy and we had to wait for responses to our questions. Her passion for Namibia and Botswana always came through and we felt fortunate to have the benefit of this.

The only suggestion would be to have people drive out the east gate of Etosha (which we did) and south through Otavi on the way to Mundulea Reserve, rather than you suggested departure through the south date of Etosha. When I asked Chris to change my itinerary, he rearranged my trip plan perfectly in a short time. I was amazed at his flexibility and efficiency. Thanks a lot, Chris!
To be improved: Warning for Coldness Needed. I wish I were informed more thoroughly of how cold it is in July in Botswana (especially during morning safaris). I brought a light down jacket. But it was not enough. I needed a heavier one. .
As I told Chris on the phone, I am a stage-four lung cancer patient. My doctor said I would probably be able to live another six months or so. If I live longer than that, I will try our second African safari tour next year. Then I wish to travel with Expert Africa again. See you then!

our only comment is that our original idea of starting at little kwara and finishing at savuti before the river boat would have been better. after nine days of jeep safaris any down time would have been better at savuti as you could watch wildlife at the waterhole. we think this would have worked better for us but may not suit other people." DumaTau
DumaTau, in the private Linyanti Reserve, offers game drives, seasonal boat cruises and walks. Wildlife safaris here are quite seasonal, and are at their best during the height of the dry season, between June and October.
