"Wonderful start to our 2 week trip."

Little Vumbura
"A very special place."
The game drives were an adventure with our very experience guide Sam whose tracking abilities were second to none. We found baboons grouped high in a tress to come around the corner to find lions lying in the track blocking our route!
Sam is also a bird lover and found some beautiful diversions to the search for the big 5. We met some really pleasant fellow travellers sharing stories over dinner and around the camp fire. The set up of the camp is informal, relaxed and gently brought all the guests to bond together. We have no idea who the manager was - we didn't need to know. Everything ran so smoothly.
The food was such high quality. The flavours so delicate! So please we stayed here."

Sandibe Safari Lodge
"We saw everything we could imagine!"
The wildlife was extraordinary! We saw lions, leopards, wild dogs, hippos, elephants, zebra and giraffe - all with lots of young. Hyena, Jackal, Hippo, various antelope including Sable.
The concentration of animals was totally beyond all expectations. Wildlife stories that we could follow in episodes through morning and night drives. Wild dogs with 14 puppies, also hunting as a pack. Mother leopard hunting and hiding her kill. Loosing one of her 2 cubs only to be reunited with it a day later. Our guide was SK - really professional and knowledgeable."

Zarafa Camp
"Outstanding experience, up close and personal"
A very intimate experience - like a very special house party. Fabulous food - passionate young chef.
We visited a lioness with several young cubs - watched her play with them - so self satisfied - a very proud lioness.
On the last night we were taken into the bush for a BBQ. Such attention to detail.
A wonderful place."

One & Only Cape Town (Not currently featured by Expert Africa)
"A very large hotel without much character"
Our suite was spacious and clean. The service was haphazard - no minibar refill. Great position for walking into the harbour where we ate most nights. If we return to Cape Town we would choose somewhere different to stay and eat."

We were both entertained and cared for in a relaxed, attentive way and highly commend the warm, friendly, professional staff team. Rudy, the Manager, made us feel very much at home in Paradise. Wish we had stayed 3 nights and not just 2. Next time..........
Only niggle was the plunge pool on our terrace was murky. Plenty of apologies given and we were unlikely to have used it in July :)"
