"This trip was a once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget. The trip was meticulously planned by Lyndsey [Ed: at Expert Africa], who went above and beyond both before and during the trip by keeping us up to date of any happenings and relayed information to our guides when our travel got delayed on the way there.

Each of the places picked were perfect for us, none were too busy or too "touristy", we were recommended activities that we'd like to do while we were there and things to look out for, and the connections between them were flawless and without stress.

"I had visited three of the camps on this trip in 2022. So I knew quite a lot about them. Busanga Plains was a first visit for me.

Love Chisa Busanga particularly the birds nest rooms.

The plains are quite different to the Lower Zambezi and Luangwa parks. Wetlands nor unlike the Okavango delta.

On my trip in 2022 I witnessed lots of wild dog action in both parks which was the highlight of my trip. This time not quite as much.

"Really great trip - we enjoyed every minute. The organisation and booking was also faultless and well aligned with our interests.

We did not pay enough attention to the packing list and did not bring hat, coat and gloves . In June it is REALLY cold at 0600 particularly in a moving vehicle. I recommend that this should be emphasized to future guests.

Megan's suggestion of taking thermal cups was a great idea - we really enjoyed a hot drink in the (cold) early morning drive.

Shared jeep trips were fine - a private guide would have been significantly better.

We flew BA to JoBurg and then Airlink with a 5 hour stopover on the way out. This worked out well as the BA flight was 90 minutes late out of Heathrow. There was an earlier Airlink flight that people were panicking about catching - I dont know if they made it or not.

"We are fully happy with our trip (eventhough we were not able to see any brown hyena)
If we were to do it again, we would probably hire the car from day 1 and add some time in the Kalaari and fish river canyon

"We had so many wonderful experiences in Namibia, the country has stunning scenery, diverse wildlife, outrageous night skies and beautiful, charming people. New to Namibia we were unsure of how to plan our road trip but we were in safe hands with Sabina who understood our needs very well and stretched us on occasion to make choices we would not have made without her - those choices such as Doro Nawas were inspirational and very moving for us.
