"Superb experience at Lagoon, encompassing location and quality of accommodation with expertise of guides, high standards of food and attention to detail in service. Animal viewing was highly configured to our niche tastes, and success in finding aardwolf, pangolin and wild dog was beyond our hopes.

Astonishing calibre of head chef, with the highest quality and variability of vegetarian food as well; afternoon tea showcased incredible baking capabilities too. Well structured days with sensible siesta time, and configurable activities.

Private surprise dinner on final night for my 50th was exceptionally plotted and delivered!"

"Great tented rooms and mosquito netting, cute outside showers, an open camp with buffalo and elephant regularly wandering around! Setting looks across a marshy flood plain, which is less impressive than competitors based on water courses, but healthy amount of game to watch from the main lodge. Food was substantial but perhaps not of the high calibre experienced elsewhere, with vegetarian food underwhelming.

Guides were average in terms of proactivity and insights. Night drive was a bit disappointing as the game drive vehicles do not have a spotter seat out front, which is limiting. Camp management were in general excellent though."
