"Luxury in Stone Town"

2 nights Arrived 19 Aug 2007
"The Serena was a real haven of luxury after Chumbe Island.

The pool area, the restaurant, the evening musical entertainment and the views all created a wonderful conclusion to our holiday.

Two nights was adequate, because Stone Town is sadly not very interesting and lacks municipal services (street cleaning). The tours of the town and the spice garden are over-rated. The sale of the spices of the farm are vastly over-priced compared with shops in Stone Town." See all these reviews: 10n in Zanzibar; 3n in Tanzania

"Great, airy cool interiors, fantastic views"

2 nights Arrived 29 Jul 2007
"Ideally situated in Stone Town. Highlights were the views of passing dhows and sunsets from all rooms; wonderful, varied buffet breakfast, local as well as international food, sparkling wine - sitting right above the shoreline.

Can not think of a better way to start the day!

Don't miss the oppotunity to go out to their private beach (free transport) with its own secluded dining areas nestled into the trees looking down on the beach. Locally caught fish grilled to perfection." See all these reviews: 9n in Zanzibar; 4n in Tanzania
