Onec you leave the main the road is terrible, so it it quite a process to get to the snorkelling.

"Overall Feedback"
Liz in particular was amazing - right from advising and helping us put together an itinerary, to sorting our flights out in the Heathrow chaos and helping us when needed during our trip. Liz's achievement in swapping us from BA to Kenya Airways on 20 December (at virtually no extra cost), without any exaggeration, saved the whole trip.
I would whole-heartedly recommend Expert Africa to friends and family, and I'll be in touch when we visit Africa again!

"Africa Trip"
Trip was a big success and incorporated three mini holidays at Stonetown, Matemwe and Chumbe. Was a shock to the system to return to sub zero temperatures in the UK

Only small gripe was when we arrived at Zanzibar airport we were tired after the trip and found our taxi there with a sign with our names, there were two men there, one of whom offered to carry our bags all of 10 yards and then demanded a tip when all we had was dollars, don't know whether our taxi driver knew what was going on but did not help us much." We weren't sure where to travel to in Africa for our holiday as there are so many options but we were very pleased with the advice we received from Expert Africa as to the destination which would most suit our needs. They worked wll to fit the holiday around our budget. Every connection/transfer ran smoothly and the choices of accommodation far exceeded our expectations.

The Zanzibar Coffee House is a small quiet hotel tucked away in the back streets of Stone Town, with lovely, simple rooms.
Serena Inn
Now trumped by the nearby Park Hyatt, the Serena Inn, in its historic building, was formerly Stone Town's only international-style hotel.
Zanzibar Palace Hotel
The Zanzibar Palace Hotel is a highly regarded boutique hotel with very personal service and just nine rooms, all of them Zanzibari in style.
Beyt al Salaam
The Beyt al Salaam is a pleasant, boutique hotel with only six rooms and atmospheric and stylish Zanzibari décor.
Dhow Palace Hotel
The Dhow Palace is a very good-value, mid-range hotel, full of Swahili character, and the pool makes it appealing to families.
Emerson Spice

Kholle House offers an atmospheric Stone Town stay in a historic building, and is very good value for money.
Jafferji House
