Sunshine Marine Lodge: picture gallery

Sunshine Marine Lodge has magnificent views of Mnemba Island.
The rooms are spread out amid a lush tropical garden (2014)…
...which have grown considerably over the past few years (2017).
Inside the rooms are bright…
...and they are decorated with white and sky blue walls and brightly coloured cushions.
The rooms can be either a double...
or a twin...
... and outside each room has a shaded veranda with seating.
The en suite bathrooms have his and hers sinks...
...A flush toilet...
and a good rain shower.
The panoramic rooms have lovely views across the Indian Ocean.
There are two swimming pools in the main area of Sunshine Marine Lodge.
…one of which is a horizon pool...
... with beautiful ocean views.
Next to the pools is the open plan restaurant...
...and the well stocked bar serves a good selection of drinks and cocktails.
The seating area behind the pools incorporates old dhow boats and colourful cushions.
At high tide guests can swim straight from the pier.
For those who want to explore the local area there are plenty of brand new mountain bikes to use.
And for those who want to relax there is also a massage room.
Around the corner from Sunshine Marine Lodge is Muyuni Beach...
... this is around 5 away minutes by boat, or a little longer on foot.
... here you can relax on the beach, swim in the sea, and enjoying a drink at the beach bar.
Very much part of the lodge is the dive centre - 'Dive Point'.
They have brand new diving kit...
A classroom, and even their own training pool.
