"My Aug 2019 trip"
The standard of guiding was consistently high.
Food was great and the camp cooks were innovative in the way they catered for vegetarians (it was not all mushroom risotto!)
All staff were very happy to interact with guests and share their own experiences and knowledge of the bush and of life in modern Zambia." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 13 on a Zambia safari
"Great return to Zambia"
"My Jul 2019 trip"
"Africa trip, July 2019"
We also enjoyed our visits to Cape Town and Jo'Burg. We had private guides for a day in both towns, which we like to do wherever we travel - and our guides really gave us tremendous insight into the history and lives of people in these towns and throughout South Africa." "July 2019 South Luangwa"
The two camps we stayed in, Lion Camp, and Chinzombo, were both fantastic.
We enjoyed the remoteness of Lion Camp and the scenery in that area of the park. It was nice to stay in two different locations within the South Luangwa. Chinzombo is a luxury camp, but so too is Lion Camp, which has recently been refurbished." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 7 on a Zambia safari
"Amazing trip to Zambia"
Our special requests were all noted and fed through to the camps which made us feel very special. Thank you
We loved Mchenja and Chongwe camps and although the treehouse at Flatdogs is totally unique, the experience does not quite match the other 2 camps.
Our suggestion would be to stay at Flatdogs first, outside the park before moving into the much quieter and exclusive inner park.
We loved being asked to record our wildlife sightings." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 13 on a Zambia safari
"Zambia 2019"
The remoteness we experienced in North Luangwa in particular, and the quality of the guiding plus the lack of other vehicles in all the places we visited, were really very special indeed.
Walking in the bush, particularly with Remote Africa, was both immersive and addictive and coupled with the smaller, rustic nature of the camps we stayed at throughout the holiday has very much whetted our appetites for more!" Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 13 on a Zambia safari
"Brilliant, exceptional, fantastic."
The initial call to Expert Africa made us feel like a customer dealing with a company that cared about what we wanted to achieve from the holiday. All the lodges we stayed at were superb, it was luxury in the bush. The game viewing was second to none, not only all the "big animal" but also some very interesting smaller ones (elephant shrew, honey badgers, porcupines, mongoose).
A perfect holiday that we will talk about for a very long time, thank you." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 14 on a Zambia safari
"Surpassed our expectations"
The staff, guides and scouts are highly trained and knowledgeable. They are also entertaining and, as far as the guides and scouts are concerned, fill one with confidence when, for example, out on a walking safari or when confronted by elephants as we were on several occasions.
The camps are small (maximum of six chalets) and we were often the only two people in a jeep with a guide and a scout, which is very spoiling.
All being well, we will be returning to South and North Luangwa in the next year or two and in the meantime will have to rely on our memories of this magical country." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 13 on a Zambia safari
"Second visit: every bit as good as the first!"
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
It would have been good for the feedback form to have been sent to my daughters as well as myself, as they may have had a different viewpoint." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 5 on a Zambia safari
