"My May 2023 trip"
In hindsight I think going to 2 camps might have been better, but don't know what/which we would exclude. We definitely would have enjoyed more time at Flat Dogs. I think we saw more at Flat Dogs and Anabezi. I think this is because there were more guides driving around so more eyes looking and as we passed another vehicle they would relay information (or radio). At Tafika, we were the only vehicle in the camp so sightings were a little haphazard.
We were impressed with the amount of knowledge all three of our guide possessed. They knew about birds, mammals, vegetation, insects, tracking...and could relate facts on sight! They were also good at tailoring our drives to what we wanted, as the trip went on we no longer wanted to stop at every zebra or elephant sighting, but were looking for predators and hoping to see a kill. We never saw a kill but saw a leopard and lionesses attempt kills. We watched the wild dogs two nights in a row waiting for them to hunt but only saw them sleep and scratch!
The beauty of the land, the morning sky and night sky are indelibly etched in my mind (and in photos). I'm glad we went to the Lower Zambezi park because the landscape was just a little different, the mountains around the park are so pretty and make a beautiful backdrop. When they get the black rhino reintroduced to the Lower Zambezi, I'd love to go back!" Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 12 on a Zambia safari
"Back in Zambia again !"
Being 85 and a lone traveller I was a little apprehensive as to how I would stand up to it all, but the staff were without exception caring and supportive without overdoing it.
One word of caution - the flight on Emirates was long and taxing and the airport at Dubai was a monster!" Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 10 on a Zambia safari
"Zambia two years late!"
As a first trip to Zambia we chose to visit three national parks (Kafue/ South Luangwa/Lower Zambezi) and were glad we did as they were very different, as were the camps selected. We were a little disappointed by the variety of birds seen and fewer than expected leopards in their supposed hot spot of South Luangwa.
There were film crews in South Luangwa and Kafue throughout our stays which, on occasions, inhibited our access and positioning at sightings. This was a VERY expensive trip and we did not expect our experience to be limited by them taking priority!
However, overall we had a terrific time with plentiful sightings and photos to prove it.
Our vegetarian diet was brilliantly catered for at every camp and of the three parks Lower Zambezi was our favourite." Read full review: 21 nights in Africa; 19 on a Zambia safari

That is exactly what we got. Already planning the next one. Thank you to you all.

"My Oct 2022 trip"
Despite many trips to Luangwa this was only my second visit to Lower Zambezi, and I was quite blown away by the density of wildlife and the beautiful scenery. The atmospheric Winterthorn forests make a stunning backdrop for photography.
Thanks to Claire for the tireless rearranging of multiple trips over the last 2 years!" Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 15 on a Zambia safari
"Big birthday Africa trip 2022"
Covid regulations weren't a problem, we were met and escorted at every stage of the journey and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. We love the tiny planes between places and the balance of safari and beach chill-out was fantastic, a very special trip.
Claire was always responsive, pro-active and gave us great advice when planning the trip and answering my questions throughout.
As it was our joint birthdays, the special surprises each location laid on were just lovely and so kind.
I honestly believe EA are the very best at Africa holidays, the knowledge and experience of the advisors are exceptional and their advice is accurate." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 7 on a Zambia safari
"My Sep 2022 trip"
It was lovely to enjoy a break away, knowing that we were bringing much needed income back into the parts of the country where families are reliant on tourism.
The camp staff were all so welcoming and the wildlife sightings were exceptional.
We would thoroughly recommend Zambia as a destination for first time safari-goers as well as old hands. Just GO!
Lucy did the most incredible job to put together our itinerary and to adapt it as necessary due to the Covid postponements.
Thank you so much." Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 21 on a Zambia safari
"My Sep 2022 trip"
Lucy was very responsive when we discovered our error in booking the return flight a day after we had left the camps and thanks to her recommendation turned a problem into a rewarding experience." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 11 on a Zambia safari
"My September 2022 trip"
Overall, we enjoyed our time in Kafue and would consider returning to the Busanga Plain but would be very mindful of camp location relative to accessing the plain.

"My Sep 2022 trip"
We have always planned our own trips in the past to SA, Namibia and Botswana (self drive) but found we needed help with Zambia which you provided amply. This was booked in Feb 2020 and was delayed by 12 months twice due covid so I was particularly pleased when it actually happened." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 10 on a Zambia safari
