"Zambia, Botswana & Namibia Aug-Sep 2016"

I visited Namibia and 2 other countries between 19 Aug 2016 and 6 Sep 2016
"This was the first time EVER that we engaged a travel agent to arrange a trip... after visiting 54 countries doing our own organising.

On the downside, the intimate knowledge that I usually have of every trip was gone. For me, this is part of the fun of a trip, so I missed it... having to check the itinerary every time I wanted to know something, rather than simply recalling it.

On the upside, the reason we had decided to use an agent was the difficulties of organising smooth transfers and bookings in a relatively unique environment... and almost everything went like clockwork. Where there was a hitch (the hotel 'upgrade' in Livingstone; pick-up going to the wrong end of the trip in Kasane) it was nothing to do with the booking or agent.

Taken as a whole we enjoyed the holiday very much indeed. Naturally there were highlights - Doro Nawas, Chongwe River Camp and Chobe Under Canvas would be our top three - but small things, like the fascination of the Zambia / Namibia border crossing at Kazangula or the starkness of the road from Henties Bay to Uis, also stood out as hugely interesting." "An extraordinary and fantastic adventure!"

I visited Zambia and 1 other country between 12 Aug 2016 and 27 Aug 2016
"This trip was truly awesome. We loved every minute of every part of it.

The opportunity to stand face-to-face with a family of gorillas in the middle of the jungle in Rwanda is other worldly – straight out of a movie (literally!) and I couldn't recommend more highly.

Same goes for the Sausage Tree camp in Zambia. Wow what a fabulous place! Having our own guide is key, and their facilities are top, top notch – from the rooms to the main lodge to the cars and boats they use, all of which makes a difference in making the experience truly extraordinary.

Expert Africa did a terrific job setting everything up for us – we had nothing to worry about at any point of the trip. Thanks!" Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 8 on a Zambia safari

"Our July/August 2016 Zambia safari"

I visited Zambia between 25 Jul 2016 and 9 Aug 2016
"Good combination of game parks in S Luangwa and Lower Zambezi and nice combination of lodges/activities.

Good game viewing seeing the majority of animals including lion, leopard, genet, wild dogs, buffalo, hippos, elephant, antelope, and also lots of others. Also good bird life viewing.

As always the guided walking were very well organised and with excellent guides (especially Kanga), also good spotting of animals on walks.

Having been to Zambia 4/5 times now we wonder if there are less lions than there used to be, there is some hunting allowed adjacent to some of the park boundaries and does this affect numbers and cause more inter-breeding? We did see lions but not in large numbers, max 3 at one time and no cubs were seen, but it was said there were 2/3 cubs in the areas we were at." "Wonderful trip to Tanzania and Zambia"

I visited Tanzania and 1 other country between 30 Jun 2016 and 16 Jul 2016
"A wonderful trip! It was interesting to combine Tanzania and Zambia for the variety of wildlife sightings and changes in landscapes.

Many thanks to Claire Scott (EA) for organising it all, and especially for recommending Kigelia in Ruaha, it is an amazing place! Glad I visited Selous before Ruaha as it only got better! Chongwe River Camp in Lower Zambezi still remains my favourite camp. The team from Tours Africa in Lusaka airport also deserves a mention for being so helpful at arrivals and during transfers.

This trip was a fantastic experience from start to finish!

Third time I have used EA and have never been disappointed. Already looking forward to booking my next trip with your team in the future." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 10 on a Tanzania safari

"June 2016 trip"

I visited Zambia between 18 Jun 2016 and 28 Jun 2016
"Great trip.
All logistics worked.
The camps were exactly as billed.
The game was not quiet as plentiful as hoped for with a couple of very quiet days - impala, hippo and the odd elephant - but this is all part of the luck of safaris in large, remote parks with no or one/two other vehicles.
The pre-booking information such as no giraffe in Lower Zam was very valuable. Might be worth stressing more that there is no wifi or signal in the camps. This was not an issue for us at all.
Expert Africa have a good reputation with both Tafika and Potato Bush as an agent who knows what they are doing and for briefing their clients well. It was clear than some other agents are perceived less favourably.
Overall, Freddie and Expert Africa delivered 100% on brief. Thank you." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zambia safari

"The most wonderful two week trip"

I visited Zambia and 1 other country between 7 Jun 2016 and 21 Jun 2016
"We spent two wonderful weeks in the bush. It went too fast.

It exceeded our expectations in every way: accomodations, guides, food, game viewing and weather.

I am still pinching myself that it all happened.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Up dated guidelines on tips. The suggested tips at the camps were higher than in the booklet." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 8 on a Zambia safari
