Rooms are good and the service was very friendly. Breakfast was good and we had an excellent but expensive buffet dinner one night. The other nights we ate at the Royal Livingstone sister hotel which has an a la carte menu which was very good.
We enjoyed watching the monkeys, zebra, and gireffes that live on the hotel grounds. Went into Livingstone one day and enjoyed the crafts maket and museum." See all these reviews: 22n in Zambia

To see Victoria Falls, the location could not have been better. The access to the park was included with the hotel. Breakfast was included, and the dinner was a buffet. It was better to go to Squires restaurant to order dinner a la carte.

Because we were staying there for 3 nights, it was so easy for us to go out and just walk to the falls whenever we wanted. I do think that the location of the hotel played a major role in the way we appreciated such a spectacular site. Staff were pleasant and friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. Food was good and plentiful although after 6pm we were limited to either the buffet or room service.
Activities could have been better. I was directed by reception to the Activities desk where the girl offered cruises or a helicopter ride but couldn't book them as she was 'already knocked off'.
