"Super location by the falls, nice rooms, but one would expect more from the service and the food. The breakfest buffe was nice, but the stay away from the a la carte restaurant, and it was impossble to get a late night snack in the bar" See all these reviews: 20n in Namibia; 2n in Zambia; 1n in Botswana

3 nights Arrived 15 Sep 2011
"This was a big change after staying in bush camps for 3 weeks. The hotel is in a superb location a few minutes walk from the falls.

Rooms are good and the service was very friendly. Breakfast was good and we had an excellent but expensive buffet dinner one night. The other nights we ate at the Royal Livingstone sister hotel which has an a la carte menu which was very good.

We enjoyed watching the monkeys, zebra, and gireffes that live on the hotel grounds. Went into Livingstone one day and enjoyed the crafts maket and museum." See all these reviews: 22n in Zambia

"Right on the edge of Victoria Falls"

2 nights Arrived 2 Aug 2011
"Zambezi Sun is located right on the edge of the falls, just a short walk to one of the natural wonders of the earth. Our room had trouble with shower flooding, shower door not closing property and the toilet never quit running. Several calls to the front desk finally brought maintenance to fix the toilet and shower drain. Unfortunately, the door still never shut properly.

Buffet food was average but we did enjoy a wonderful meal at an adjacent steakhouse." See all these reviews: 9n in Zambia; 6n in Botswana

"Zambezi Sun review"

2 nights Arrived 15 Jul 2011
"Very touristy hotel and area. The hotel provided a chance to relax for a couple of days before heading home.

To see Victoria Falls, the location could not have been better. The access to the park was included with the hotel. Breakfast was included, and the dinner was a buffet. It was better to go to Squires restaurant to order dinner a la carte.

We took the short walk over to the luxury sister hotel, and had dinner there one night; an elegant experience not to be missed." See all these reviews: 10n in Zambia; 4n in South Africa

3 nights Arrived 12 Jul 2011
"Nice Hotel. Even if it was more expensive than other options, it is a privilege to stay so close to the falls.

Because we were staying there for 3 nights, it was so easy for us to go out and just walk to the falls whenever we wanted. I do think that the location of the hotel played a major role in the way we appreciated such a spectacular site. I would advise every tourist visiting the falls to stay in this hotel because of the convenient location." See all these reviews: 4n in Botswana; 3n in Zambia

"Zambezi Sun review"

2 nights Arrived 6 Jul 2011
"We only stayed two nights here in order to see the Victoria Falls. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the falls and is ideally situated.

Staff were pleasant and friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. Food was good and plentiful although after 6pm we were limited to either the buffet or room service.

Activities could have been better. I was directed by reception to the Activities desk where the girl offered cruises or a helicopter ride but couldn't book them as she was 'already knocked off'. Wilderness safaris had many more activities to offer and were willing to book at our convenience." See all these reviews: 11n in Zambia

"Location could not be better - a stroll from Victoria Falls. The buffet breakfast is very good; the other meals are OK but not outstanding- but there are other places to eat out.

The pool is picturesque but as unheated the water is quite cold (June). Overall, a great base to visit Livingstone." See all these reviews: 8n in Zambia

"Beautiful setting, friendly, polite staff, terrific location next to the falls. The falls were spectacular but not touristy which was fantastic for us. Very relaxing.

A great place to start a trip. We were met at the airport by professional staff and logistics were seamless. Very impressive." See all these reviews: 5n in Botswana; 3n in South Africa; 1n in Zambia
