Our Botswana Aug 2024 trip
Botswana between 16 Aug 2024 and 31 Aug 2024
"Anton put together a fabulous trip for us. He listened carefully to our wishes, chose camps which suited us perfectly & enabled us to experience different aspects of the Delta plus the Central Kalahari.
A member of the team was always available with advice or to answer questions, excellent service."

Botswana Private Mobile Safari

"We stayed with Andrew & his team for 4 nights in 2 different locations. It was interesting to explore the different habitats, although the drive between them was long.
Andrew’s spotting skills are fabulous & one of many highlights was following a wild dog hunt & kill. Being in the mobile camp feels closer to nature than staying in a lodge with elephants & a leopard passing close by whilst we were having dinner. We always felt safe & the team were outstanding, the food they produced on a wood fire was exceptional & very tasty."

Pom Pom Camp
"Pom Pom Camp review"
4 nights
Arrived
23 Aug 2024
"We stayed at Pom Pom for 4 nights which was perfect to experience all they had to offer. Being in a Private concession we especially loved the increased flexibility especially the night drives. Being surrounded by a Pride of hunting Lions in the dark is a moment we will never forget. Our guide & spotter were excellent & we had some fantastic sightings.
The location is stunning, with animals &/or birds always frequenting the lagoon in front of the camp not to mention walking round at night. The scenery is exactly what we expected of the Delta; with lagoons, swampy areas, grasslands & wooded islands. Very beautiful.
The rooms are to a high specification & very spacious, including space for a surprise private dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary, a special treat. The staff were all extremely friendly & helpful & the food exceptional.
If we have one disappointment it’s that, as the Guides accompany guests in the dark, we felt rushed to bed. A good way instead to end the day would have been sitting round the fire chatting with fellow guests."

Tau Pan Camp
"Tau Pan Camp review"
3 nights
Arrived
27 Aug 2024
"On arrival at Tau Pan we thought we’d made a mistake as, from the air the area looked devoid of wildlife, however we were soon proved wrong & I believe we saw more different species, especially of birds than we had in the Delta. We found the landscape fascinating, the subtle changes & spaciousness, being in an area unaffected by man apart from a few roads is a privilege.
Our guide KB & spotter Scouper were the best we had, very keen to share their extensive knowledge. In particular on our final morning, we were disappointed to be leaving at 9.45 & thought they would take us on a short drive close to camp, but instead, they gave us their best & it was our favourite drive of the trip, & we spotted so many species including a black-maned lion.
The camp location is perfect, being able to view the waterhole both from our chalet as well as the dining area was an added bonus.

The accommodation was fabulous & being raised on elevated walkways meant that we could move around on our own at night. Staff and guides were really helpful. All in all a great introduction."
