"We arrived quite late and only stayed 1 night at Olive Grove, but it was a pleasant hotel with a good breakfast."

"We had a wonderful time at Wolwedans and would thoroughly recommend it.

The views from the accommodation were simply breathtaking. The service and the food were very good. Our guide was very hospitable and knowledgable and we really enjoyed 2 private guided drives around the desert.

We also attended the hot air balloon ride over the Namibrand desert."

"We stayed at Hoodia for 2 nights and were slightly disappointed with our stay. The rooms were OK but unfortunately the air conditioning wasn't quite strong enough to cope with the 40 degree heat.

The food was good but the service was somewhat lacking. Despite being the only guests at the lodge, we were allocated the room furthest from the reception area, meaning we had no wifi (not a huge issue). We later discovered that the owners were away and the staff were sleeping in the rooms closer to reception and hosting parties with loud music in the reception area.

The Sossusvlei tour was brilliant although we did feel that our guide was angling for tips.

This is a lovely lodge with a nice pool and beautiful scenery, but overall disappointing service."

"Great budget guesthouse with very helpful and accommodating hosts.

The guesthouse is in a central location with easy access to shops and the beach.

We had a brilliant trip to Sandwich Harbour and would thoroughly recommend."

"Mowani is situated in a wonderful location with the rooms placed between large boulders. Our room was excellent and had a beautiful view.

The service was hit and miss, with some of the staff seemingly unable to comprehend two women travelling together. There were times that staff were quite obviously talking about us (in the native language) right in front of our faces, which was somewhat uncomfortable.

Despite this the food was good and we had a really good time on the elephant spotting trip, where we were able to see over 20 elephants."

We did not partake in any game drives as we wanted a bit of relaxation after a busy few days in Etosha.

The food and service were excellent and the swimming pool was a lovely place to camp out with a book.
