I very much appreciated the opportunity to interact with members of the local Samburu community, although the visit to the Boma felt somewhat intrusive to me.
The facilities were beautiful and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, the guides were excellent and the food was excellent.
I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to be there."

I wish I had understood the sheer number of people and balloons involved. I was expecting something slightly less large-scale commercial, especially given the price.
The breakfast was good, although we drove for at least half an hour to get to it.
I would suggest that people be advised that it takes a certain amount of dexterity to get into the balloon basket while it is lying on its side.
It was not a problem for me, but it certainly was for others.

We had a serious ant infestation in our room that was not resolved while we were there.
It would have been helpful to move us rather than spraying the ants while we were there.
It was not possible to use the bathtub because of the ants, and although I had my suitcase on the far side of the room, it got ants in it."
