"We loved this lodge.
Mini and all her staff were fab nothing was too much trouble and our guide Bernard was amazing very patient knowledgeable and happy to answer all questions. We always seemed to arrive first at amazing viewings.
I would highly recommend this lodge"

"Unjuga was sadly not what we expected. It had a run down tierd feeling.
Our villa was poor. My shower didn’t work, it had a very damp feeling, my daughters sheets had stains on, the key did not work, our supper took over an hour to come every night. The manager and his wife were unhelpful although their staff were good.
I would not recommend any of your guests to stay here."

We were disappointed to read that these travellers did not enjoy their time at Unguja Lodge, and we sent these comments to the lodge. The Unguja team sincerely apologise to these guests, explaining that due to the pandemic, maintenance that would usually have taken place, was put on hold. Now tourism is bouncing back, they are working hard to commence some upgrades, stating that ‘every spare shilling is put into the lodge to bring it back to where it was and should be.’.
