"Galton House is a great place to start your holiday.

We were greeted by the owner/manager with a welcome drink of cold tea. The guest house is in a residential area so very quiet surroundings.

The room is lovely and all the staff were friendly but professional. Good breakfast to set up for our drive for the day."

"We were very disappointed at the reception we received on our arrival at Bullsport.

Unfortunately the staff weren't expecting us, we had this bizarre conversation with the person who greeted us who insisted we weren't booked in at all and said the only option we could have was to camp!! This was the last thing we needed after an extremely long drive. 20minutes later it was only sorted out when the owner appeared and said it was OK!! They then had to prepare a room for us.

The evening meal was served at 19.00 and no later. The food was basic, but OK.
We were also informed at 20.15 we had to clear the table ourselves if we wanted to sit and chat to other guests.

The owner was very nice and helpful which was the only positive comment we could make about Bullsport."

"Hoodia was wonderful, it was lovely to be greeted at the door with a warm friendly welcome from Thomas and the staff.

The central area of the lodge is stylish but welcoming, the restaurant is the same with food quality to match the surroundings.

The Sundowner evening excursion was absolutely the best of our trip, set up with individual tables for each couple, you felt you were on your own with no one else around! We were lucky it was a beautiful clear evening to see the sun setting.

Ineos was our guide to the Dunes, he was very informative about the desert and the area around. The lunch set up was amazing.

All in all we really enjoyed Hoodia Desert Lodge."

"Cornerstone was comfortable set in beautiful gardens, in a good location within walking distance of the town.

The owners were friendly and very helpful, breakfast was great."

"Doro Nawas location is incredible, the "Fort" on arrival is very different. The greeting with singing was fun and we couldn't have felt more welcome.

The setting of each bungalow is clever with the outlook being very private. We did roll the bed onto the balcony to sleep under the stars which is magical, waking up in the morning with Springbok in front of the room was an added bonus.

The food was great and all the staff were wonderful."

"To be honest the only reason to stay at Okaukuejo is the waterhole.

The room we were booked into was basic and really hot, we weren't given the option by Sabina to book a waterhole chalet.
The buildings all have tiled roofs rather than being thatched, which makes them feel like hot boxes.

"Lovely setting with all the tents well spaced around the waterhole. We spent a lot of the time watching a variety of game coming down to drink.

The food was great, good service from all the waiting staff.

The only comment we felt both of the managers/reception staff to be distant and uncommunicative."

"Mushara lodge has the amazing stylish decor, in both the central areas and the rooms. The staff were very welcoming.

The only thing we felt let the place down was the quality of the food."

"Ai Aiba lodge the staff were very welcoming, food was great.

The game viewing trip was perfect we asked to see more of the bushman/san paintings than game, the guide was excellent and took us to multiple locations to view the paintings.

It was a lovely place to stay at for the end of our holiday."
