Last year we had another amazing vacation, which set the bar very high. And yet, this trip once again exceeded expectations.
The safaris were full of exciting sightings, the people we met--including our fantastic guide Nickson--were warm and professional, the food was outstanding, each detail was thought through.

We had beautiful rooms with a view of the ocean, we ate extremely well, and the activities (cooking class with locals, sunset sailing, Lamu excursion) were really interesting.

The atmosphere is what makes the difference: the ladies at the camp treat you like family.
They celebrated my husband's birthday with six months delay given the various postponements of our trip, and he keeps saying it was his best birthday ever!"

A lot of fun, the kitchen's location was amazing, the chef was really good and patient.
After a long flight and a late arrival, we found ourselves in a magical place having a wonderful dinner. The lodge is beautiful, the staff attentive, the food great.
The visit to the elephant orphanage and the afternoon game drive were also really exciting activities."
