"Staff very friendly and welcoming, room very comfortable and food excellent"

"The room was clean, the staff were helpful however there was no hot water in our room either in the evening or the following morning. On complaining to the management we were advised that it was a problem with the town mains and that she could not wash either, which as you can imagine was a great comfort to us after our drive from Windhoek. There was no offer to provide hot water from the kitchen.

That said the beer was cold the soup and pizza were great."

"Good location, comfortable room, might have liked the option of a balcony if we had known they were available.

"Impressive location, fabulous accommodation and food although some variety would be an improvement i.e. eland steak first night, beef steak second night and kudu steak third night. All beautifully cooked along with the other courses, but steak three nights in a row!

Staff were delightful and tried very hard although this was the first camp were we have not eaten with at least one of the guides and there was no camp representative eating with the guests. The camp would have benefitted from more staff presence front of house.

Finally, Wolwedans prides itself on its eco credentials however asking guests to postpone having laundry done until the next camp is a bit of a cheek!"

"Much bigger camp than Wolwedans and doubled in size since our last visit. However, and despite its size, the ambiance was better and the staff extremely helpful, Petronella was the consummate host and our guide Stephanos went out of his way to accommodate our requests for photographic locations.

Returning from drives we were always welcomed with a cold towel and drink. Despite the numbers at mealtime the food arrived quickly and was excellent.

Best croissants at breakfast ever!"

"We only stayed one night on our way out of Sossusvlei which was a great regret as the accommodation and food were excellent. We used our overnight stay as a rest day and highly recommend the lodge and room facilities.

On arrival we had a fabulous lunch followed by an equally good evening meal. The fresh coffee and cafetier in the rooms was a great touch which others should follow."

"Good location overlooking the lagoon and a short walk from the Raft.

Compact room with no tea and coffee facilities although this was remedied immediately when queried with the staff.

Staff were very helpful. Secure off street parking.

Breakfast was poor so much so that on our last morning we skipped it and drove to the Village Bakery in Swok."

"Lovely place to spend our last night in Namibia.

Convenient location and secure parking. Superb room and fabulous dinner and breakfast. Full marks for attention to detail, hot water bottles in bed and port and chocolates.

Would happily return and would not hesitate to recommend."
