"We saw lots of different animals in a single day.
Being in an enclosed vehicle gave less field of vision than being in an open sided one.
It was a long day due to the drive from our accommodation to the crater, but this did allow us to see lots of Masai village life along the way." Read more about this whole safari

"There are amazing animals in Ngorogoro crater. We even saw a rhino with its baby.
However, there really are a lot of safari vehicles, some of which are quite rude - cutting in front of you, speeding and blowing dust everywhere. When we saw the rhino there were over 30 vehicles.
I realize that's the price one pays for seeing remarkable animals in a remarkable place, but the amount of traffic was surprising" Read more about this whole safari

"Fantastic scenery - a must visit"

"Obviously you come prepared for lots of other vehicles but other than immediately you get down into the crater we felt the level of other vehicles was okay.
The natural environment both at the top & down in the crater is stunning - well worth our trip (we actually did a full day in the crater)
Take note - the road into the crater is truely dreadful - given the amount of fees that go to the park authority it really is a disgrace" Read more about this whole safari
