"Once again, Tracy came up trumps! We had been spoiled on our previous trip, to Zambia and Namibia, and weren't expecting to be quite so blown away this time - but we were, thanks to the sheer variety of the package that Tracy put together for us. From our safari experience at Kwandwe, to the opulence of the Vineyard Hotel in Cape Town, we were stunned by the quality of accommodation and service we encountered throughout our trip. "Great trip with a great variety of lodges. Twenty one stops in total .

Very enjoyable and effortless driving between lodges. We covered 5,000 km in the rainy season with no problems. The twin cab Ford Ranger was perfect.

"This was a special trip and it surpassed expectations. It was full on, as so much to see and do .Thoroughly enjoyed all four locations we went to . They were all very different but each was great in its own way with the highlight being the safari.

We also did our homework on restaurants before we went so had some truly excellent meals at places such as the Pot Luck Club and Foxcroft in Cape Town , La Petite Ferme in the winelanda and the Olive Tree in Knysna These were all booked in advance

Also booked a really enjoyable wine tour around some of the lesser known estates.

As you will have seen Oude Werf was a bit of a disappointment especially when compared to the other establishments we visited but Stellenbosch itself was really chilled and had a great lunch there as well.

All in all the holiday was superb and many thanks to Tracy for being so helpful in making the arrangements.

Greatly valued the ability to chat things through rather than simply relying on email. Perhaps some additional info about parking availability at the hotels woyld be useful-there were no problems but when arrivibg at a new destination worth knowing in advance what to expect eg at Oude Werf you had to find a place to stop near the hotel or drive to the gates so they could then do the valet parking. At Phantom Lodge you leave your car at their secure outdoor car park at the bottom and then are driven up and down between the lodge and your car." "South African Airways was a disappointment. O.R.Tambo needed more time on the outward journey due to long queues at immigration.

Hotel, Lodges and Guesthouses were on the whole excellent. Meals were of a good standard.

Some of the driving was not for the fainthearted! Road surfaces varied from excellent tar roads to poor dirt roads, none impassable! As expected!

"A really extraordinary adventure. An excellent itinerary in Rwanda, capped by the priceless experience of tracking gorillas and other primates.

A beautiful week in the Quirimbas Archipelago, including a visit to a hidden gem of southeast Africa, historic Ibo Island.
