"City Lodge OR Tambo"

"The City Lodge OR Tambo was a very convenient stop over for the family and I as we were out to Zambia, Africa early the next morning.
The hotel is located within the airport property requiring only a short walk from baggage claim. The rooms are comfortable and the service at the hotel restaurant and food are quite good.

"The room had no double glazing, as it was at the back facing all the roads it was very noisy, not recommended as a room for a rest after a full days flying!

"The airport location was splendid, the front desk helpful, the breakfast buffet was bountiful. This is a good, serviceable hotel that was ideal for what we needed--convenience to Tambo airport."

"Easy to find with your instructions. A bit disappointed with the noise levels as double gazing probably not really up to current standards for an on-airport hotel. Perhaps the Intercontinental may be better in future? The menu was not extensive when we only wanted a snack, when it arrived - it was cold. As we only had a one-night stopover here, it was not not a real problem. Convenient."
