"Great kayaking amongst flamingoes & seals"
Based at Cornerstone Guesthouse on 20 Oct 2013
"Very well organised by Jeanne. She drove a group of 9 of us with a trailer of kayaks right out to Pelican Point. A long drive, and it was still cold when we got there.
But Jeanne was very well equipped with fleeces, oilskins, lifejackets and even flat soled shoes! So the special trainers I had brought with me were totally superfluous! Pity as they had taken up unnecessary space in my case! NB Sabina!!
Jeanne also took some great photos and videos of all of us which we received later that day by email.
Very professionally run." Read more about this whole safari

"Jeanne was great!"
Based at Cornerstone Guesthouse on 12 Aug 2013
"A real gem of a trip. Jeanne was excellent and very easy going and provided waterproof top and trousers plus wet shoes. The kayaks were very stable and dry and the total distance travelled would have been under 500m so you do not need any kayaking or fitness skills.
The seals were great and after they got used to you would allow you to rub their bellies or they would chew the end of the paddle. One was a bit naughty and would nip your clothes, but in a playful way. The seals are all around you in large numbers the whole time. The experience is a real close encounter with very friendly wildlife backed up by a very knowledgable Jeanne.
Much, much better than the boat trip." Read more about this whole safari

"We loved this trip. Jeanne is terrific and very knowlegeable and fantasatically well-organized.
We were bowled over by the flamingoes, the seals and the dolphins. An extraordinary once-in-a-lifetime experience, not to be missed. It made our stay in Swakopmund." Read more about this whole safari

"Kayaking in Walvis Bay Lagoon"
Based at Cornerstone Guesthouse on 30 Jun 2013
"We enjoyed a fun morning excursion kayaking in Walvis Bay Lagoon. Because we had to hit the road early, we were not able to venture out to see the Pelican Point seals, but it was pleasant to be amongst the greater and lesser flamingos and Jeanne's infectious enthusiasm. That she took pictures of us on the water (and promptly emailed them to us) was an added bonus!"

"Sightseeing with a difference"
Based at Sam's Giardino on 10 Feb 2013
"Jeanne and her helper Francois were excellent leaders, most knowledgeable about the area and its wildlife and enthusiastic about their work.
We coped very well with the kayak and the sea was calm so we enjoyed the whole experience. It was exciting to get so close to the furseals and both guides were great at identifying birds for us." Read more about this whole safari

"Great to have such a knowledgeable guide. A really fun trip out, loved getting so close to the seals. Just a shame not to have spent more time with the flamingos."

"Fantastic experience"
Based at Cornerstone Guesthouse on 7 Nov 2012
"The kayaking itself was a fantastic experience, bringing us in very close contact with the Cape seals. All aspects of the activity were very well organized. In addition, Jeanne is hugely knowledgeable about the area and its wildlife. An added bonus was that Jeanne provides without charge the pictures taken by her of us kayaking as a reminder of a wonderful morning."
