"5 relaxing days at Bazaruto lodge"

5 nights Arrived 7 Nov 2007
"A lovely 5 days were spent relaxing at Bazaruto. It has a very laid back nature and we were left to enjoy ourselves. We would have preferred more information on the trips available.

We wish there had been spa facilities but realise that due to issue of the cyclone earlier in the year this ended up being our 3rd choice hotel.

Rooms were kept clean and the service we received was good. We loved our private breakfast and also the dinner outside our room together with our own camp fire - thanks to the honeymoon package." See all these reviews: 6n in Botswana; 5n in Mozambique; 2n in Zambia

"Bazaruto Lodge review"

4 nights Arrived 6 Oct 2007
"A bit too much pressure to sign up for activities; oherwise excellent - beautiful location, lovely staff, great diving and snorkelling.

Just need to offer drinkable wine by the glass as opposed to paint stripper!" See all these reviews: 11n in Namibia; 4n in Mozambique; 2n in Zambia

"Bazaruto Lodge Mozambique"

5 nights Arrived 16 Aug 2007
"They have done really well to reopen after the cyclone. The communal rooms are excellent

Reception good and staff fine although more reserved than in Botswana.

Initially given a room some distance from the children. They had been given a 2 room lodge and so we all moved in there. Staff were concerned that we may make trouble as we had paid for 2 lodges.

Food a little repetetive although well cooked and presented.

Drinks not included in price (including water) so bill soon added up. No price list on view which would have been good.

Great selection of activities but all apart from kayak and pedalo have to be paid for (including snorkelling)." See all these reviews: 6n in Botswana; 5n in Mozambique; 2n in Zambia

Anantara Bazaruto is a family-friendly resort on the west coast of Bazaruto Island; it's the largest resort on these islands, and in design terms probably the most like a conventional hotel.

Dugong Lodge

Dugong Beach Lodge is a stylish property on a remote stretch of beach just south of Vilanculos. For the level of luxury you get here, this is a very good value lodge albeit not actually on the Bazaruto Islands.
