From start to finish, we were always welcomed and guided on our way, making for a very stress-free vacation.

Even when one of our short bush flights got changed due to the weather, Richard made alternative arrangements and emailed me the new plan before the camp staff even had a chance to tell me of the change.

"I always recommend Expert Africa for their amazing service and attention to detail. The whole process is clear and efficient. Not only are their personnel friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable but they treat return customers (of which they must have very many!) as old friends (which we are!).

I cannot recommend them highly enough and would not dream of planning my safaris without them.

"Aside from the wildlife, the most memorable moments of my trip were with the locals that I met and had the privilege of spending time with. Our guides Peter and Simon at Laikipia have ten pairs of eyes and radar when it came to finding animals. Dido at Mara Bush with his engaging smile and impish sense of humor. And Esther and Peter, both of whom are wonderfully charming and always ready to wrap you up in a hug. There are not enough superlatives! I would go back in a heartbeat!" "It was a fantastic trip overall and the itinerary for birding was amazing - we saw so many species.

We had great guiding, especially at Kifaru and Tortillis and were lucky enough to get a private vehicle at both. At Elsa’s we shared a vehicle with 2 charming like-minded people so that was great too. All of our dietary needs and other preferences had clearly been communicated and management everywhere could not have done more to accommodate us. Really impressed with Elewana and would recommend them to anyone. All of the transfers were seamless except going from Air Kenya to Safarilink at Wilson.

Not sure if I had to do it again whether I would drive from Amboseli through East Tsavo with a one night stop. It was a long, hot, uncomfortable drive on a container route for the most part, we didn’t see much of Tsavo, and from Satao to the coast was full of day-trippers and their crazy drivers. However, I did get some great birds so…

"I have traveled to Africa numerous times with different operators and professionals. I can honestly say that my experience with Expert Africa was by far the best.

Right from the go, starting with the first discussions regarding my itinerary to the last day and after my return, it was such a pleasure. They took care of every little thing, beyond my expectations.

The documentation was detailed and sent to me via email and then by post as well. At every step Parita was there to check if everything was alright and if I needed anything. Reminders in a timely fashion just in case I had forgotten something. Follow up after my return to welcome me back and enquire if I had any difficulties. All very professional and caring.

Highly recommended.
