Ngari Hill Ecolodge: Our full report

Outside the remote town of Maralal, Ngari Hill Ecolodge is the best accommodation in the area and the only ...

... full-service lodge in northern Kenya between Laikipia and Lake Turkana.

Since the demise of the much lamented Maralal Safari Lodge, this Dutch-owned lodge has stepped into the breach to provide reasonably comfortable accommodation and adequate meals.

Our view

Although we haven’t yet visited Ngari Hill Ecolodge, we hear good reports of its management and services and believe it to be a reliable base for an overnight stop or a short stay to explore the rather “Wild West" town of Maralal and its Samburu culture.
