"Lewa Safari Camp review"
The lodgings and food were great, and the facilities around camp provided a sense of luxury. The safari guides, Daniel and Tom, were outstanding... while they lacked the photographic awareness that some of the Kicheche guides have as photographers themselves, the breadth of knowledge and information was unparalleled.
Driving through the conservancy itself was a different experience... roads, farming, animal feeding... Lewa is specifically a rhino sanctuary, and many practices are about the conservation of those species. It was wonderful to also see the "Northern 5"; Grevvy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Beisa Oryx and Gerenuk!
In addition of course, to many many rhinoceros!" See all these reviews: 14n in Kenya

"You want to see Rhinos - you will see Rhinos "
The Camp itself is like an oasis in the great open plain with lot of beautiful flowers and birds. The tented rooms are nice and offer everything you need including 24/7 opportunity to charge your batteries. The food is fantastic and could be star rated (like in the other Elewana camp we've been: Elephant Pepper Camp in Mara North Conservancy).
We can highly recommend this camp and for observing Rhinos the Lewa Conservancy is definitely one of the best options you could choose in Kenya if not in whole Africa!!!" See all these reviews: 16n in Kenya

"Lewa, great place to start."
The only regret we had was the food, we gained at least 10 lbs each...like eating at a 5 star restaurant every day!" See all these reviews: 12n in Kenya
"Great spot on the savannah"
Exciting game walk with armed ranger and an angry black rhino.
Surprised to share vehicle with others on game drives but not a problem.
As at Tortilis, food just OK. Had pork belly one dinner -- never having had it before -- and will never have it again. Drinks weak. Two double vodkas with dinner at 5000 feet should've had an effect." See all these reviews: 10n in Kenya
"The Bird Song was Extraordinary!"
The staff was kind and the guides knowledgeable. We had our most extraordinary lion experience on safari here -- witnessing a kill from start to finish. Our guide worked extra hard to ensure that we made fantastic memories!" See all these reviews: 11n in Kenya; 2n in Zambia; 1n in South Africa
"Loved it at Lewa"
We had chosen the camp because we were keen to see Rhino and the Rhino viewing exceeded our expectations - we saw lots . In addition we saw lots of other game including cheetah, lion, elephant and 2 lovely ostrich families with lots of chicks. Our guide , Festus, was excellent at spotting widlife and he was also very personable, patient, knowledgeable and easy to understand. We were also fortunate to have Festus and the vehicle to ourselves.
In fact the camp was, as we expected, quiet due to the time of year and we only crossed paths with 2 other guests, one of whom was a travel agent." See all these reviews: 8n in Kenya
