"Camp Kuzuma review"
A rustic, very comfortable camp with great hosts who made us feel very welcome. It was a relaxed time at the camp with meal times, game drives etc., at our pace. Food at breakfast, high tea and dinner were all excellent and well presented.
Our room was very comfortable and spacious and also close to the waterhole which was special as night time sights and sounds drew you into the bush. The weather during our stay was hot (September) and there was no air-con, just a couple of fans - so, at times it was a little uncomfortable, especially at night.
Game drives were fun but quite quiet in terms of spotting animals. The landscape/vegetation was uninteresting, very dry and with signs of wild fire. Most of the action of game spotting was around the waterhole at the camp.
Animals spotted were:
Elephants
Male Lion
Leopard
Hippo
Giraffe
Warthog
Impala
Rohan antelope
Sable antelope
Kudu
Zebra
Tsessebe
Black backed jackal
Reed buck" See all these reviews: 7n in Namibia; 6n in Botswana
"Camp Kuzuma review"
The entire staff (Eddy, Beer, Mojo, and Shirly) and the managers (Shirley and Kevin) were incredibly attentive, friendly, and kind. They went above and beyond making our stay special and memorable. Every meal was truly exceptional, and the chef (Bea) was simply the sweetest.
The accommodations were comfortable and classy, offering 5-star luxuries deep in the wilderness. As for their famed water hole, it provided unforgettable daily, near-constant sightings of beautiful wildlife, particularly the many large herds of elephants drinking, bathing, playing and rolling in the water. We highly recommend skipping at least one evening game drive to experience the stunning sunset setting at the camp.
The majestic elephant and tree silhouettes against amber red skies are not to be missed." See all these reviews: 3n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe
