"One of our top holidays, brilliant planning by the Expert Africa team who managed to achieve two accommodation upgrades!

All our requirements were met and even after two cancellations over the COVID years we maintained all our original bookings dates ( 3yrs on) times and schedules.

Perfect planning seeing the migration in the southern Serengeti then fly on to the northern Serengeti to wildlife watch up there.

All our accommodation in mobile camps were high quality venues and of course Mkombe’s house was just an amazing experience.

Our final chill and relax at the Manta resort was perfect. What a place?!

"My first time in Africa for 3 years and a return to Nyerere (Selous) after nearly 20 years.

The ruins at Kilwa have been on my bucket list for a while and I always thought it would be a good time to visit them whenever I was in that part of the world. They are well worth the effort (6 hours by road from Dar) in reaching Kilwa and provide an insight into an older Africa and a nice alternative to just a safari and beach holiday.

I like Africa in the green season and they had always fancied visiting Nyerere when it was green. Sightings are not as difficult as you would expect and I had a few memorable encounters. But if you don’t see the big cats or the dogs there is so much other big game to keep you busy. Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalo, plenty of hippo and crocs by the water and I have never seen so many Elland. Plus the birds I have never seen so many beautiful birds." "I decided to return to Kenya for my first post-covid trip about 10 weeks before I planned to travel. For me, this was "spur of the moment" as I normally book 10-12 months out! I reached out to Richard and hoped he'd be able to pull my desired camps together on short notice. He did it and made a few tweaks that truly made this a trip of a lifetime (that charter flight was absolutely unforgettable!)

Everything was flawless and it all came together for my best safari yet. I can't really ask for more than that!

Knowing Richard from his online posts, I trust his judgement and experience and I'm so fortunate to have gotten the chance to work with him. The organisation was excellent and the lodges lived up to our expectations.

"Wonderful first trip to Namibia.

Exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed all aspects of the trip. Landscapes are stunning, animals are exciting to see and we felt that the lodges and overall trip was making a positive contribution to supporting local people and environment efforts.

Would recommend kayaking with seals at Walvis Bay as a side excursion. Going out of season did mean that a couple of lodges were very quiet but in the positive side we had some personalised excursions, found that the Etosha waterholes were not mobbed by visitors and that the heat was manageable.
