It was the most memorable time and the organisation from Expert Africa was super.

"Its quite difficult to put into words just how amazing a country Kenya is. For all the corruption and general bad press, if you scratch the surface and get to know the people, its quite simply addictive.

Richard organised a wonderful itinerary for the safari. The rain made this year a totally different experience, the driving was much more difficult, but the countryside looked rich and green and all the herbivores which have struggled so much in recent years are all thriving which is wonderful.

We also loved our two weeks in Msambweni, meeting the village people and helping with charity work for HIV orphaned children, donating football kit for the local team, the Msambweni Super Eagles, who then arranged a friendly match for us to see the new kit in action! The kit was green with green and white striped socks, however, only a handful of the players had football boots!

I also took out items for the maternity unit at the local hospital, including packs for new mothers who arrive at hospital with absolutely nothing containing a blanket, knitted hat, a selection of clothes and socks - all small things but which make a huge difference.

"This was our third trip to Zimbabwe using Expert Africa, previously having visited Somalisa/Mana Pools and Somalisa Acacia/Amalinda, and this might just have been the best we have ever done. The combination of a bush camp and 2 more comfortable camps worked really well for us. Hwange Bush Camp gave us the raw Africa experience. Camp Hwange provided a truly exceptional game viewing experience, and the Hide is a unique place. Our thanks to Tom for putting this trip together for us." "We had an amazing time and will definitely be using Expert Africa in the not too distant future.

As regular safari goers, this trip did not disappoint. Tom was helpful and the itinerary that we put together was perfect for us.

A lot of driving, but worth every mile we drove.

"This was an amazing trip and covered areas of Namibia that we had not been to before. It involved long days driving which we were aware of and was part of the adventure. As this was our fourth visit to Namibia we knew the places we wanted to get to and also the majority of the lodges we wanted to stay and it didn't disappoint. "A very enjoyable short trip to Ruaha, a park we had not visited before, and a return trip to Nyrere Park.
The two camps, suggested by Lyndsey, worked very well for us and we had a wonderful time.

Because of our flight times we had an overnight, and an an afternoon and evening to spend in Dar.

The Serena Hotel is good - but the trips back and forth to the airport were not enjoyable.

"For us personally there was a bit of (healthy?) tension regarding this trip.

It was the exact same one we did 10 years ago, which had a very unfortunate start. However, the days that remained were memorable and worth repeating. So we did and were definately not disappointed.

The trip as a whole went very smoothly and brought us exactly what we hoped for. We've come to rely on Expert Africa for just these reasons and will be doing so in the future. In fact, even before ending this trip we started planning the next one. If that's not a vote of confidence, I don't know what is.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

The service is impeccable, I can't think of any suggestions.

Just want to add that we love Maruska. We've already had 8 relatives & friends use her expertise...and more to come.

Maruska is a joy to engage with and this trip was extra helpful when crazy weather threw a curve ball!

"We are not usual safari travellers as we are interested in everything including how the villages run, the people, the Church and Shops. We are concerned your review only refers to animals - no birds, trees, insects etc. Why?

We have been on over 50 safaris to places that not as popular as some - we are not box tickers. See previous answers.
