"The camp was fabulous.

The staff were attentive and made sure we always had what we required. When they learned we were celebrating our 40th anniversary they laid a special table for us by the plunge pool and arrived with a cake singing to us!

Our guide , Piet, was a wonderful guy ; quietly spoken , very thoughtful toward our needs and so knowledgeable. He and Kay were great company on our safari drives.

The quality of the food is very high , the accommodation is comfortable , even remarkable , given the remoteness of this beautiful location."

"This camp is very different to Duba, and equally enjoyable.

The safari started the moment we left Giraffe Springs airstrip with our driver Conn pointing out various animals that he was spotting . We were warmly welcomed to the Camp and introduced to all the guys who would be looking after us.

Our guide here was Peter , he too was very knowledgeable and took us to see some very interesting sites . A difficult time at this camp in a way as the rains were long overdue and some animals were suffering very badly , but of course , others were enjoying a time of plenty.

The accommodation here is very comfortable and the food was super. We particularly enjoyed the way they put a buffet out so one could help oneself.

A lovely relaxed atmosphere persists in this camp in between drives. after dinner we all gathered around the campfire fire to chill out before retiring to bed . A lovely way to finish the day."

"What can one add about this hotel that has not been said before?

It is very comfortable and we received a very warm welcome. The rooms are super , although a little lacking in storage space.

We also found the shower was a little slippery and felt that either a non slip surface , or some grab rails might be a good idea .

We were staying on a B and B basis and were pleasantly surprised at the cost of lunch , dinner and drinks in the hotel. The quality of food was great and the view over the gorge to the bridge just fabulous.

We did buy some bits from the locals and found some of them rather too insistent and aggressive. We decided to get around the town by taxi rather than walk around and be continually approached ."
