"We expected the best."

I visited Zimbabwe between 5 Oct 2014 and 16 Oct 2014
"And we think we got it.

A fantastic 9 day 3 location safari with light aircraft transfers between lodges. Clearly Zimbabwe is going through some troubled times but this in no way detracted from our trip, People are genuinely pleased to see you, none of our camps where full and the parks seemed very quiet in terms of visitors, but plenty of game. We had a fantastic trip that will live long in our memory.

A special word for Rhino Safari camp, spend 2 nights here for a totally different amazing experience.

"My Sep 2014 trip"

I visited Zimbabwe between 17 Sep 2014 and 4 Oct 2014
"A fascinating experience, very well organised. we not only experienced high quality game drives but also much more of Zimbabwe as well as meeting a very interesting variety of people both local Zimbabwean and from further afield.

We did feel that our requests had been noted and passed on including our celebratory reason for the trip.

There is no separate subheading for transfers and this was an important aspect of our tour. All drivers were efficient, courteous and friendly with the one exception from NJ to Harare airport as already mentioned." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 15 on a Zimbabwe safari

"My Sep 2014 trip"

I visited Zimbabwe between 9 Sep 2014 and 19 Sep 2014
"Starting out at Somalisa was brilliant. It was the basic course that prepared us for the advanced course in bush craft with Stretch at Goliath. Overall we could not have been more pleased. The Expert Africa staff, Nick and Claire answered every one of our stupid questions." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 10 on a Zimbabwe safari

"Go visit Zimbabwe"

I visited Zimbabwe between 2 Sep 2014 and 16 Sep 2014
"Although we were terribly disappointed by the lack of painted dog sightings, especially the puppies, we are obviously well aware that this type of experience can never be guaranteed or, indeed, booked in advance!

We thoroughly enjoyed Zimbabwe and would urge anyone considering a safari, particularly their first, to look at this majestic country. The country is on the mend and the guiding is first class.

"First trip to Zimbabwe"

I visited Zimbabwe and 1 other country between 28 Aug 2014 and 9 Sep 2014
"Our objective for this trip being our sixth safari was to get closer and more interactive with the animals for the purpose of photography. This was achieved with many good photographs taken, the camps we stayed at were all different and all had their positive points.

We are starting to plan our next trip and Zimbabwe is at the forefront. The only point for Expert Africa is if they are routing people from Zimbabwe to Zambia by road at the bridge please take time out to see the Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwe side, especially at this time of year, we didn't and this was a slight disappointment." "My Jul 2014 trip"

I visited Zimbabwe between 24 Jul 2014 and 5 Aug 2014
"Our 7th trip to Africa and the 3rd with Expert Africa. Some real highlights, guides were second-to-none, but overall possibly our least favourite trip. Travelling time and stress to reach Zimbabwe was high (2 hours to get through flight connections at OR Tambo was not fun!). Some special game sightings, but we certainly felt there was less game than in other countries and that poaching was a major and growing problem. If we were to return, I'd want to look at a different route to get there. Having said that the light plane flights between camps were flawless, punctual and fun. I would also say that the trip was not the best value of our trips." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 11 on a Zimbabwe safari

"A Good Return to Zimbabwe"

I visited Zimbabwe between 15 Jul 2014 and 26 Jul 2014
"The trip was well organised and on the whole satisfactory.

Game viewing was a little disappointing, in that it wasn't very abundant. On the other hand, though, the scenery was breath-taking." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zimbabwe safari

"fascinating wildlife,excellent organisation"

I visited Zimbabwe between 11 Jun 2014 and 20 Jul 2014
"excellent start to finish.slick well organised and no concerns at any point.

I liked having regular mail contact with nick hobbs who dealt with things well. the info about changed flight times was invaluable and meant we could re confirm and didnt miss the flight back to harare which would otherwise have happened so thanks for that!!"
