Kilindi: picture gallery

Kilindi is a luxurious lodge set on Zanzibar's unspoilt northern coast.
Here, 15 white-washed pavilions are spread along 500m of sandy beach.
They are built in a unique 'Zanzibaroque' style...
...some with two storeys...
...as well as two plunge pools and plenty of private space.
Inside, light and airy bedrooms...
...feature comfortable beds, which can be a double...
...or a twin.
Each bedroom also has a dressing table...
... as well as tea and coffee facilities.
Each pavilion has a spacious en-suite bathroom...
...with an open-plan design and an excellent rain shower.
Outside, there's a large lounge area...
...complete with sun loungers...
...and a two pools, overlooking the sparkling blue ocean.
In the main building there is a couple of cosy lounges...
...which have been beautifully designed in the same style as the pavilions.
Friendly staff are on hand to serve up a tasty cocktail from the bar.
Adjacent to the bar is a dining area...
...which looks out on to the infinity pool.
This is a great place to relax...
...and the ocean views are amazing!
Kilindi also has a luxurious spa...
...complete with a twin hammam bath.
Kilindi is a stunning place, everything is built with attention to detail...
... and the sunsets are spectacular!
