"Fantastic first safari!"
I had done some research prior to contacting Expert Africa and Lucy Copson was awesome - listened to what my expectations were and made wonderful suggestions for my itinerary! She was never annoyed when I asked for modifications to the itinerary and when my return flight was postponed a day, she knew about it immediately, found some options for me and booked my last day at Luangwa River Camp. I wouldn't have done it any other way.
The transfers were seamless, everyone was professional and pleasant and my trip was worry free. I selected Robin Pope since they don't charge a single supplement but I can't imagine staying with a better outfit.
I highly recommend the services of Expert Africa and Robin Pope safaris! Thanks, Lucy!

"Victoria Falls and Botswana September 2019"
The Okavango Delta was amazing, even after so little rain in Botswana and Angola. We would certainly like to return when there is more water in the Delta.
We have visited several African countries and been on safari many times, so the focus on this trip was really to see the Delta, a unique ecosystem. Tracy really listened to what we wanted and after much discussion we felt we had the trip we wanted. We were delighted with the offer of a helicopter flight from Pelo camp back to Maun. We saw rhino from the air one of the few animals we had missed on safari.

Having flown economy, we were glad of the opportunity to relax for 2 nights at Victoria Falls before starting the safari. Our afternoon arrival at our first camp coincided with that of another UK couple who had flown from the UK straight to the camp and, unlike us, were too tired to go straight out on an evening game drive." Something we were not aware of prior to our trip was that not all animals can be seen in all locations. This became very apparent when we were in Old Mondoro/Chiawa - there were no giraffes,. Whilst there should be some personal responsibility, someone who had booked a trip of a lifetime and had a checklist of animals this omission may have caused disappointment - perhaps this could be highlighted when trips are planned."
