African Queen Sunset Cruise

African Queen Sunset Cruise

Overview: African Queen Sunset Cruise

The African Queen Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River offers a luxurious and leisurely experience. Typically lasting around two hours, you’ll enjoy a gentle cruise upstream along the Zambezi River.

You’ll be collected from your hotel or lodge in Livingstone, and transferred to the jetty on the bans of the Zambezi. There’ll be time for a refreshing welcome drink, before a short safety briefing, then you’ll set off to soak in the beauty of the African wilderness and stunning sunset views.

The African Queen is a 70-foot, triple-deck riverboat, with inside and open-air decks to make the most of the panoramic views. Wildlife sightings may include hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of bird species.

Complimentary drinks (local beers, wines, soft drinks, and spirits) and light snacks are served, and after watching a stunning African sunset casting golden hues over the water, you’ll return to the jetty and, as twilight settles, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.

(Breakfast and lunchtime cruises are available for groups on request.)

<Please note: Expert Africa can only arrange a sundowner cruise along the Zambezi as part of a full, Expert Africa itinerary which includes a stop in Livingstone or the Victoria Falls.
