My Trip of a Lifetime!
Botswana and 1 other country between 10 Oct 2010 and 29 Oct 2010
Lucy organised my trip using her incredbile knowledge and customer service skills. It took a while to finalise the trip but not once did I feel under any pressure. Some of the other companies were very pushy and just seemed to want your booking. All my queries were responded to promptly and I could never have organised such a fantastic experience without her help. Expert Africa are the best travel company I have ever dealt with. If you are thinking of travelling to any of the destinations that EA provide then don't hesitate to put them at the top of your list.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
The Northern Botswana Mobile Safari can be undertaken in the reverse order I did. My only suggestion is scrap that and keep it from Kasane to Maun only.
The only other very small point is that I asked Lucy about organising a bean bag for the safari. I was told that this was not an option but the Letaka site does offer this. Fortunately one of the couples on the trip had ordered two so they kindly let me use on of them. It would have been a real issue for me not having one."

There was not one second of this trip that I did not enjoy! If you are undecided as to which company to book your safari in Botswana with then hesitate no longer and book with Letaka. If you want to experience the REAL wonders of this incredible country and immerse yourself in everything it has to offer then you will not be disappointed with the Norhtern Botswana Mobile safari. The variety of animals and birds we saw was amazing and in no small way due to the expert knowledge of Joe who anticipated so much about their behaviour even before the animals themselves knew what they were ging to do next! All I am doing now is saving to book with them again."

The breakfast served on the morning I left was stone cold, that seriously needs addressing."

Meno A Kwena
"Meno A Kwena review"
I was blessed with being looked after on my safari trips with Max and Steve, what a team. Faultless! Thank you boys for such a fantastic time, I love you both. We saw some fantastic game and a herd of 23 giraffes at one time and a line of 13 bull elephants walking down to the water and then watched them play and frolic. It was absolute heaven.
The communal dinning may not be to everyone's style but I thought it was great because travel is also about meeting new people. The food was amazing and it is served on BIG plates!
I visited the local community project and school with Janaina which was a real treat. Meno A Kwena's whole ethos is to work with the local community through the Water for Life Project so it was important to me to see this first hand. Meeting the four members in the arts and crafts project was great. I have a lovely necklace made for me by Ishmael as a lasting momento.
I wish I had stayed for longer at this camp and definately want to go back again, it felt like home!"

Stanley's Camp
"Stanley's Camp review"
The game drives were very good but compared to Meno A Kwena and the Northern Botswana mobile safari there was less game to see. The vehicle was the least comfortable and the terrain extremely bumpy! None the less my guide Ike (who even though suffering with a really bad cold) did his best to seek out the game.
The best part of this stay was the Grey Matter, Elephant Experience. Whatever my expectations of this were they were multipled 1000 fold. Doug Groves is one of the most incredible people I have ever met, he is the fourth elephant. His knowledge and love for these beautiful creatures is breath taking. If like me you feel an affinity with these astounding animals then make sure you include the experience when you book."
However the Victoria Falls from the Zambia side is uninspiring, especially at this time of year. I am very glad that I did not end my trip here.
The river trip was very enjoyable."
