"FANTASTIC!!
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
I thought you were one of the best travel agents I have dealt with and would unhesitatingly recommend you.
All the arragements you made worked perfectly and the camps were as you had described them to me, if not better. This was a very expensive trip but I certainly feel I got value for money."

Kwara Camp
"Fantastic Kwara"
3 nights
Arrived
26 Nov 2009
"Kwara is not as luxurious as Lebala because it is slightly older, so the tents are in fact tents and nothing like as spacious as the "bungalows" at Lebala there is some electric lighting.
However, it is beautifully situated on a lake with about 80 hippos in amongst tall trees through which the vervet monkeys swing. Also there were considerably fewer mosquitoes than at Lebala.
Once again the service and friendliness of the staff was faultless and the food excellent, although perhaps not quite as sophisticated as at Lebala.
I very much enjoyed the mix of water activities which was a welcome change from constant game drives at Lebala."

Camp Kalahari
"Amazing Camp Kalahari"
3 nights
Arrived
29 Nov 2009
"Camp Kalahari is a much more "old fashioned" camp with oil lamps in the tents and outside bathrooms, I found this rather romantic and very "Out of Africa". It is currently being expanded and has been much improved by the new owners Jack's Camp so it would be good to see how things are in 6-12 months.
The setting in the pans is magical and you truly feel in another world. It was a fabulous contract to the Delta camps and having it last was for me the right order.
I enjoyed the activities, especially a morning spent with a colony of meercats and an outing with five bushmen.
Once again food and service were excellent but perhaps not as friendly as at the other two, there was less of a house party feel, but that may just be because I was the only guest."

Thamalakane River Lodge
"Excellent Thamalakane River Lodge"
1 night
Arrived
2 Dec 2009
"I very much enjoyed my night in this restful lodge on the river at Maun, albeit some distance outside the town. It was great not to have to rush straight back to London after 9 nights in the bush.
Individual stone built bungalows with all modern comforts and an excellent restaurant in a great setting, with a pool. Very friendly staff and transfer from the airport all added to the convenience and comfort."

The tents are in fact huge wooden framed "bungalows" with electricity, free standing baths, separate WCs etc etc
The food was amazing with fresh asparagus and other delicacies!!
Most memorable by far was the staff who were beyond charming and helpful and made it feel like a privte house party hosted by the most charming host and hostess you could hope to find. Nothing was too much trouble."
