"We were pleased we made the effort to get there so that we could see more of the Skeleton Coast.. Our expectations of the accommodation & food weren't high. Sure the cabins were not the same quality as other camps but the location at the end of the road made it worthwhile. The staff had made a good effort with the limited resources.

Perhaps NWR should consider refurbishing and providing two grades of cabin - one for the fishermen and an upgraded one for tourists.

Friendly atmosphere, loved the quotes on the dining room wall."

"Brilliant location - though the main communal area was a bit of a visual intrusion, great views if you were in it.

The trip along the river bed to see the elephants was magical.

The rock paintings were amazing - Why hadn't we heard of them before?"

"Great location, very convenient for Etosha, plus game of its own. We missed the panoramic views and sense of privacy we'd enjoyed so much elsewhere because our room was in the second row. {Particularly felt exposed at wash hand basins}

Seeing & getting so close to white rhino with baby was the highlight. Enjoyed the different species coming and going at the waterhole.

Beware the Dassies!"

"Being near the water hole was worth being there - particularly at night when we saw 8 rhinos at once - and opportunity to be in the Park at first light. We saw so much game the first day it was hard to keep up.

The idea of driving ourselves on safari was novel but enjoyable. Tough to make a call which waterholes to go to though.

"The highlight of the trip and we didn't even know we wanted to go there! A level above everywhere else - service, food, guides, animals, location, ambience. We were in one of the new view cabins and they were great. The interior design features of this place were amazing.

We were thrilled when we saw a leopard coming out of the bush towards us; we had close up views of the cheetahs which we hadn't anticipated and saw a bigger range of wildlife overall. Great guide. It is worth doing a 'night drive' just to see the spring hares

Staff here set the standard for professionalism. Would definitely try to stay here again if we ever return to Namibia!"
