"We had a Delightful stay at the Cape Grace.

Most importantly the staff were wonderful and a credit to the hotel.

We had a week there and it did not take them long to know our names."

"One night stay at the beginning of our Botswana safari, the lodge on the banks of a dry riverbank due to the severe drought affecting Maun, however the gardens and landscaping were lovely and the room was clean and suitable for the night.

The evening buffet was good although somewhat picked over by a large tour group. The staff were pleasant and looked after us.

All in all suitable for a single night stay."

"An absolutely lovely camp, only recently reopened after refurbishment, what a superb job they have done.

The tents were spacious, gorgeous and well equipped including charging points for all electronics. The safaris were great, driving and guiding by Tuelo and spotting by Cee, just them and us in the vehicle. Saw plenty of Elephants and Leopards. On one mazing morning we went to one of the wetter area's, amazing to see so many Maribou Storks and Fish Eagles. On previous safari's we have been lucky to see one or two Fish Eagles, now we were seeing six or seven in a single tree.

The staff at the camp were attentive and excellent in every respect. Private dinner on our balcony, celebrating our anniversary."

"An absolutely sublime stay, the camp was fabulous, the staff were lovely and looked after our every need. The tents were excellent, superbly fitted out, with all the recharging facilities you could need.

The game drives were out of this world, just us and Ebbs, nothing was too much trouble. As there was only us, we with Ebbs decided what we wanted to do and look for. Highlights included tracking a leopard, by Ebbs watching the environment, and the barman/camp photographer Jay, hearing a vervet monkeys alarm call, triangulating from the monkey to find a mother leopard, as if this was not enough, later in almost darkness they found the cub.

Could things get better, oh yes, on the final morning, we were so fortunate to be present, when they found a lioness, with three 6 week old cubs, that no one had seen before. The Chitabe area operates a strict policy of maximum 3 vehicles at a sighting, only once did this occur, most of the time there is just one vehicle and with the first siting of the lioness and her cubs only one vehicle was allowed, we were lucky enough to get 35-40 minutes, before moving on. The morning continued with another large lion pride, and 3 White Rhino's. Absolutely fabulous, so a massive thanks to Ebs and Jay.

"The Cape Grace is a wonderful hotel, centrally located on the V & A waterfront on its own quay. The staff were delightful, in fact after first meeting you, they knew your name, a lovely touch.

The breakfasts especially were wonderful, and comprehensive with lovely attentive service from the staff. We were upgraded to a larger luxury room with dressing room and balcony which was lovely for our 6 nights. Lovely heated pool. As a lovely gesture for our anniversary we received a bottle of MCC and a selection of handmade chocolates.
