Livingstone Island & Devil's Pool
"Livingstone Island & Devil's Pool review"
29 Jan 2024 • Morning excursion
Being on Livingstone Island and standing at the very edge of the Falls is a truely memorable experience. You get to feel the magic of this place and feel very humble.
However as we dived in the Angel's pool (Devil's pool was closed due to too much water, this was not so much for us. The other group members were only interested in taking loads of instagrammable photos and dodn't really seem to bother where they actually were and how beautiful this place is. But maybe we should have expected this and if you want to take these kind of pictures you will definitely not be disappointed at the end of this excursion.

Ra-Ikane River Cruise

Lovely cruise on the river - peaceful, great scenery, very friendly and knowledgeable staff
Kwara Camp
"Kwara Camp review"

"Kwara is a great camp - just enough luxury, but not over-the-top. The focus is clearly on the wildlife viewing and the guiding - and that was exactly what we were looking for.
The staff is very friendly and the camp is beautifully located close to the water. You can do all kind of activities (game drives, boat, mokoro, walking safaris) all year round. We were extremely lucky to see two cheetahs, one leopard, a rare sitatunga and a pack of 20 wild dogs all in just four days. Splendid!
Our guide Lukas and his spotter Tyro were not only very friendly, but also extremely konwledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile for us.
Thank you very much for an unforgettable stay!"

Sightings report
We have stayed in a room with a lovely view of the garden and the bridge at the falls - great. Breakfast was also very nice. As to the food in restaurant on the terrace this was absolutely okay, but not outstanding. Some of the furniture in the lounges is a little dated, for example some sofas should be renewed.
The staff was very friendly and always happy to help."
