"We loved our trip to Tanzania, which included Kuro Tarangire, Entamanu Ngorongoro, and Nomad Serengeti. Jessica was great through the whole process. Many thanks for a fabulous experience!

This was my second trip with Expert Africa. I’ve been more than impressed with the service and assistance I’ve received. I love your website and how easy it is to research properties and locations. I often surf your site just for fun! I have very much appreciated the care I’ve received pre-trip and upon arrival to my destination. Knowing assistance is waiting to shepherd me through customs and to my ground transportation is highly valued, especially as I often travel solo. Upon arrival in Tanzania, we were whisked through a separate, empty line while other travelers waited in a crowded cue. Given the long travel from the US to Africa, it’s nice to have the arrival expedited. I’m now planning a third trip with you to Zambia and know I will be taken care of. Thanks so much for opening up a whole new world for me. In my opinion, there is no better place to vacation than in Africa!"

"We loved Kuro! It’s in a very remote area of the park with a rich density of mammals, birds, and reptiles. We saw another vehicles only occasionally. Our guide was excellent at finding great sightings. On a night drive, our guide and two rangers tracked a male lion by sound and we were able to see him in full roar! We also had several leopard sightings and an epic battle between a mongoose and a spitting cobra! If that wasn’t enough, we saw a Marshall eagle with a recently caught dwarf mongoose on the ground within 5 feet of our jeep. And to cap that off, we spotted a Lesser Kudo, a quite elusive antelope.The staff at camp was so gracious. When we mentioned an interest in constellations, Goodluck 2 appeared with a vast knowledge of the subject to share. The food was excellent and our tent was elegant and private."

"Entamanu is a beautiful property! While relatively new, the structures and decor are befitting the location. The cottages are lovely with every imaginable comfort. The common areas were homey and elegant. Excellent food and drinks."

Enough cannot be said of the diversity and density of animals in the caldera. We had several sightings of black rhino and numerous sightings of lions (including a 2-week old cub!), spotted hyena, eland, elephant, hippos, flamingos, and a multitude of different antelope breeds. I’m my opinion, the caldera is a must-see though I don’t feel the need to go back, largely because there is less challenge in finding the various animals.

"We had a lovely stat at Nomad Serengeti! This was the most rustic camp we stayed at but still had every comfort. We timed our stay to see the migration but because of heavy rains elsewhere, the migration had not made its way to the property, which was disappointing. Nonetheless, the wildlife available in the Serengeti is spectacular and we saw plenty of interested animals including cheetah and a cheetah cub, lions and cubs, leopard, spotted hyena and pups, an African crowned eagle, a hartebeest, and steinbok. We even saw a serval cat en route to the Serengeti from Ngorongoro.
As with all of the Nomad properties we stayed at, the staff and facilities were excellent!"

The museum was very informative and well-organized. The presentation and location were both lovely. We had hoped for a tour of the actual dig sites. I think it’s something worth seeing because of its significance but I probably would not feel the need to return.

"I had an incredible trip and would (and have) recommended Expert Africa and the locations I traveled to to others.
The animal sightings, which were the driving force behind my desire to travel to Kenya, were beyond my wildest dreams.
I felt escorted through each step on my itinerary, which was very important to me as I was traveling solo.
I greatly appreciated the support I received and plan to return to Africa in the not-so-distant future.

"Very close to the airport and within the airport security perimeter, which made me feel safe as I was traveling alone and arrived quite late.
The staff were very helpful. I slept well and the space was small but very comfortable, more than enough for my brief stay.
Breakfast in the morning was in a restaurant overlooking a lovely outdoor space, in which you can also eat, if you choose."

"Gorgeous property!
The main lodge and cottages are beautifully appointed and very comfortable, taking excellent advantage of the outdoor spaces, which is great because the weather is fantastic.
The staff is very flexible in meeting their guests’ needs and wants. The guides were great at finding and spotting wildlife. I was able to do driving and walking safaris.
Those riding will appreciate the guides’ expertise in both providing exciting game viewing, often quite close, as well as assuring safety.
I’m pescatarian and the chef made me special meals that were absolutely delicious."

"I wanted a bush camp experience but I’m not a very good camper. I like some creature comforts and this place fit the bill, with electricity and flush toilets. Hot water is delivered each morning to wash up and you can request hot water for a bucket shower. The tent was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor seating areas.
The property is part of the private Mara North Conservancy, which abuts the Masai Mara Reserve. There is an abundance of wildlife and fewer vehicles than in the reserve. The camp is flexible but the morning drive typically starts at 6:15 am. Breakfast is taken at ~9 am in the bush, continuing afterwards until the return back to camp at around noon. The afternoon drive usually starts at 4:30 pm, ending in sundowners in the bush before returning to camp for dinner at 8 pm.
The guides are excellent at getting guests close to exciting wildlife. The staff provides excellent service and we’re all very personable. I’m pescatarian and the chef took special care to make me delicious meals for me each night. This camp was an excellent complement to Sosian."
